Empties | November

Image
I've collected so many empty products over the last few weeks that the bag is already full and I finally need to get rid of the empties to create new space for new empty products. The first product is again a TRESemme hair shampoo. This time it's from the Salon Silk range and I have to say that I was quite happy with it. However, lately I found that my hair gets greasy very quickly and even after washing and drying my hair, it feels not clean but quite sticky or greasy underneath all the visible hair. I don't know if it is the choice of shampoo or what because I rinse it until no foam comes out any more. But, the shampoo smells nice and as it is a 900ml bottle, it lasts for about a month, maybe a bit less in my case. Next we have two things that are not related to beauty at all- a tea box and a box of a candle. The Twingings Strawberry& Raspberry tea was one I quickly grabbed because I thought it would be nice to have a fruity tea if we had any guests o...

Top 3 Autumn/Winter Nail Polishes

Image
To be honest, I don't really know if you can still call this time of the year autumn, where everything is so christmassy already. And it got colder for sure. To me this is already winter, and it's also only a month left until Christmas. Which means that I have my flight to Poland in less than a month already! This is really crazy... But, as the christmassy times also mean christmassy, cosy outfits, I like to pair them with pretty nail polishes. I haven't bought any new ones lately, although I'd really love to have a dark grey one or so. Or all the nail polishes available at the moment. So here are three nail polishes I wear most often right now, and which are also very good and worth having at home. The first nail polish for today is quite a dark purple shade from MakeUpAcademy. The colour is called Plum Noir and you can get it from Superdrug for 1£ only! After two thin layers, the nail polish is covering nicely. It gives a nice accent to your outfit, goes perf...

Scented Candle Addict

Image
As you may have already realised, I am kind of a candle addict. I try not to stock up too much on them because I actually want to see them and smell them burn. And if I had too many different ones at the same time, there would always be some of them left unlit. I've always bought scented candles from IKEA, which are great, but I've burnt down all of the ones I had when I still lived in Vienna. I also had one from Primark, in a rectangular piece of glass, and it's Vanilla smell was just amazing! Last Christmas I even got three small Yankee Candles from the Christmas Range, but I didn't have enough space in my luggage to take them all with me when I was moving out. And one of the nicest candles I've had was one from WoodWick, which was also a Christmas gift last year. It had a crackling noise and such a beautifully shaped jar, which could be actually reused as a small bouquet vase. I nearly burnt it down fully before leaving, so I gave it to my mum and she placed i...

First Youtube Video

Image
As I had a day off yesterday, I finally managed to upload the highly requested video. I decided to put some videos from Summer 2014 into a longer one for my first video. It is not the best, but as I just started, let's just all accept it. I would like to upload weekly vlogs now if possible, but of course I need to know first if anybody is interested in that because I wouldn't like t put all my free time into it without being appreciated, if you know what I mean. But yeah. we managed to upload the video last night and it has only about 35 views yet, which is not too great, but hopefully it will get better. Because I was waiting for the video to upload, I went to bed after midnight and had to get up before 7 today as I had to go to work. I was so tired in the morning and the fact that it is still dark outside at 7 now, makes it even worse. But work was alright today until the time I had to leave. I was at the checkouts and could leave in five minutes when suddenly all the ti...

Autumn Must-Haves

Image
It's all about being cosy and warm in autumn. As the weather is getting worse, there is less sunshine and more rainy clouds, it is good to keep yourself cosy and warm at home. Or on the go if needed. I personally, love the summer and I could live during summer all year long. It is just much comfier I think, you don't need to think too long about how to combine your outfit so that you won't be freezing but also not too hot. And in summer it is warm, at least most of the time, you can do so many things outside and enjoy the nice weather. In autumn you have to think more about amusement at home, I think.                                               Well, so here are my Autumn essentials. :)                             1) Some good Hot Chocolate I am not that much a hot chocolate person, I could d...
