My OOTD: Fave New Blouse

Image
Hello my dear friends! Uni got a bit stressful recently because I have some upcoming exams and obviously that's the reason why I don't get to blog really. And trust me - it annoys me so much! But now I have a short break from uni so it's a good time to upload a new post before I head back for some more classes. Right? I actually wanted to take photos in the park beside uni because the weather is so pretty, but unfortunately none of my friends were there to take some quick shots. And now I sadly have to share some lower quality photos with you but I like this outfit so much that I just can't not show you! I applied some eyeshadow today because I thought it would match the blouse nicely. I used my Bourjois Quad in Rose Quartz and I really like those delicate shades! I wanted to apply a nude-pinky lipstick but due to my massive cold sore I just couldn't. I hate it when I get them. They ruin my whole look but I got used to them already and know there's noth...

My OOTD: Easter Time - Monday

Image
Today we were hoping for better weather but soon we saw huge snow flakes outside the windows and later also a horrible hail storm. It feels like winter and it is pretty sad because spring should be already here with all the vibrant colours and sunshine. Oh well. I've checked the weather forecast for Edinburgh and when I saw the 18° C appearing on the screen I just couldn't believe and I felt even more sad. Now that I could finally enjoy some warm days, I can't because here it is just terrible. Everyone is tired and laying on the sofas, watching tv and not doing much and thinking of leaving Poland tomorrow makes me feel a bit like I'm wasting my time. So, to show you what I'm wearing today, here is my outfit! The full outfit consists of my favourite high waisted and fitted denim skirt with the zip that goes all the way down. I got it from House in Poland after Christmas. The crop top is from Topshop and I borrowed it in October and still have it. Whoops! It ...

My OOTD: Easter Time - Saturday

Image
Today I wanted to wear a dress but looking at the freezing temperature outside, I decided to wear a longer skirt, with a blouse and a cardigan. Outside I also wore my new Khujo jacket and my black studded boots.  The blouse I am wearing is new and I got it from Miss Selfridge some days before I left Scotland. At first I wasn't sure what I would pair it with, but now it seems to me like this is a very nice outfit. As mentioned, the blouse is from Miss Selfridge, the cardigan is from Zara and really old. The denim skirt is from House and I am obsessed with it. Underneath the blouse I am wearing a basic black cami vest. (The tights are Primark as always.) I've used my Bourjois bronzer, Avon lipstick and Maybelline eyeliner. I've used my mum's mascara, which is this one from L'Oreal. I put my hair into a pony tail because I had no time to wash it and it didn't look too good any more. And the pony tail is so heavy that it gives me headache, but ne...

My Hair Story 2010-2015

Image
Since I always had incredibly thick hair, my mum never allowed me to grow it long. The longest I got was about down to my shoulders. When I was 12 I started letting it grow a bit longer and I got a fringe, going from left to right. Once my hair got past my shoulders I decided to get it cut really short. This was summer 2010, and everyone, including me, thought it was a great idea. I got a bob and was happy with it for the first week. It looked cute and sleek and everything. But with time, when my hair started growing back, it just didn't grow the way I wanted it. It didn't want to get straight and it was sitting on my shoulders, which made the ends point outwards, and this drives me crazy. I started wearing it in a ponytail until it got acceptable, or until I could at least straighten it somehow. I knew I would never cut my hair this short again. A year later, in 2011, during summer, my hair was already much longer and looked much better. I didn't cut it at all, ...

My OOTD: 12th of January 2015

Image
This morning I felt very tired and realised the weather was a complete mess once again. The heavy, terribly loud wind, rain and snow just didn't make feel like getting out of bed too soon. I was very cosy and warm underneath my blanket but had to get ready for College eventually. The outfit I chose was maybe not the warmest one as I found out on my way, but I pretty much liked it. I tried to keep it simple when it comes to the choice of colours and paired the outfit with my new Jack Wills shopper to brighten up this very grey day, with a pop of florals. denim skirt: House, white crochet jumper: H&M, tights: Gatta, boots: Gold Boot, shopper: Jack Wills Accidentally walked into Eryk, while he was still taking pictures of me, so here's a close-up of my really tired face. You can't really see my pretty eyeliner ( doesn't happen too often), but yeah, I used my Maybelline Lasting Drama Black Shock gel liner to do it, my Urban Decay Perversion mascara and fo...

New Year's Eve 2014

Image
2014 has been a very big and busy year for me I'd say. In April, it was my 18th Birthday, In May, I had my written final exams at High School, In June, I had my oral final exams and my graduation, In July, I moved to Scotland to continue education, In December, I managed to see my family again after 5 months. And now this year is already coming to an end and I'm asking myself how 2015 will be. Is it going to be a better one or a worse one? We'll see, but now the only thing we can do is to wait and to celebrate. Eryk invited some friends over for tonight and we'll have a little home party. I don't know yet whether we'll be going somewhere else later or not. But I chose my outfit and I kept it simple but also a bit different than usual. I kept my make-up simple because I didn't really want to create a disaster in the end. I used my Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara ( the orange and black one), Barry M eyeliner above my upper eyelashes and my Bourjois R...

Poland Haul

Image
As you probably already know, I arrived in Scotland last night after a week of Christmas holidays with  my family in Poland. My journey was a complete nightmare to be honest and I am still totally exhausted. My parents brought me to the airport in Poland and waited with me until there were only 40 minutes left until my flight, as we could see each other through a glass wall all the time. Then they left and I went to the last passport control and waited for the boarding sign to appear. However, due to very bad weather conditions, my flight was 5 hours late in the end, as the plane couldn't take off in Glasgow on time. I could have spent these 8 hours I spent at the airport, with my family instead. At half past two in the morning ( Polish time) we finally took off and I landed in Glasgow more than two hours later. I was lucky enough as Eryk and his dad picked me up because I wouldn't be able to go to Edinburgh on my own any more. My journey from leaving the house until entering t...

♥ My small bag collection ♥

Image
Good afternoon people! :) I hope you have a sunny Saturday and that you enjoy the weekend! I am sitting in my bed and studying for my biology test and now I am taking a small break and thought that I could show you my bag collection! It is maybe wrong to call it a collection, but that's why I called it a small one. I have just a couple of bags that I use the most, and all the other ones (which were amazing and also very beautiful!!) I decided to give to someone or just sell them, as I never really knew how to wear them and I was sad to give them away because they were so cute, but I also didn't want to keep them hidden somewhere. So I will show you the bags that I currently have and I hope that you'll like them! :) And also, please keep in mind that they are not in the order of how much I like them, because I really can't say which one is my favourite! First of all we have my GABS bag that was also part of one of my OOTD's, I told you already that you can clip ...
