My Hair Story 2010-2015

Image
Since I always had incredibly thick hair, my mum never allowed me to grow it long. The longest I got was about down to my shoulders. When I was 12 I started letting it grow a bit longer and I got a fringe, going from left to right. Once my hair got past my shoulders I decided to get it cut really short. This was summer 2010, and everyone, including me, thought it was a great idea. I got a bob and was happy with it for the first week. It looked cute and sleek and everything. But with time, when my hair started growing back, it just didn't grow the way I wanted it. It didn't want to get straight and it was sitting on my shoulders, which made the ends point outwards, and this drives me crazy. I started wearing it in a ponytail until it got acceptable, or until I could at least straighten it somehow. I knew I would never cut my hair this short again. A year later, in 2011, during summer, my hair was already much longer and looked much better. I didn't cut it at all, ...

My OOTD And Little Goodies

Today the weather was so pretty that I decided to finally wear a skirt again instead of jeans. So, this is what I wore and our cutie pie Maya modelled with me in our backyard. I went for quite a lot of make-up and at first I had a make-up disaster and wanted to cry but I somehow managed to fix it a bit. For my base I used my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, my Bourjois Healthy Balance powder, Urban Decay Naked on the Run bronzer and the blush too. I used my Maybelline gel liner and the Urban Decay Perversion mascara on  my eyes and my new AVON lipstick in the shade Wine With Everything, and I absolutely love it! It is a purple/burgundy shade and it is a bit glossy as well. My outfit consisted of my grey and white patterned crop sweater that I got from ASDA one day, my black skater skirt from H&M, some burgundy tights I got for Christmas, my Clarks leather loafers and my Jack Wills shopper bag. (+ my furry coat for outside) When I came home I got...

My OOTD: 12th of January 2015

This morning I felt very tired and realised the weather was a complete mess once again. The heavy, terribly loud wind, rain and snow just didn't make feel like getting out of bed too soon. I was very cosy and warm underneath my blanket but had to get ready for College eventually. The outfit I chose was maybe not the warmest one as I found out on my way, but I pretty much liked it. I tried to keep it simple when it comes to the choice of colours and paired the outfit with my new Jack Wills shopper to brighten up this very grey day, with a pop of florals. denim skirt: House, white crochet jumper: H&M, tights: Gatta, boots: Gold Boot, shopper: Jack Wills Accidentally walked into Eryk, while he was still taking pictures of me, so here's a close-up of my really tired face. You can't really see my pretty eyeliner ( doesn't happen too often), but yeah, I used my Maybelline Lasting Drama Black Shock gel liner to do it, my Urban Decay Perversion mascara and fo...

New Jack Wills Shopper

Image
On my way back home from College on Thursday I checked Jack Will's homepage and spotted this shopper bag, which is so pretty with its floral print and the vivid colours. I wanted a black leather bag for school, that would fit all my College things, but I didn't find one yet. But I thought that this shopper would be big enough to hold a folder, pencil case, a drink, some snacks etc. So, I just went for it and we'll see how it will turn out to be. Also, I think that it will be a great bag for summer days out and I can't wait to take it outside any more. So, I've ordered it on Thursday afternoon, and today, on Saturday, it already arrived! I was so surprised that it all went so fast, but that's even better! Today I was at work all day long and sadly the heating broke again... and tomorrow I'll have another long shift. Hopefully I won't be freezing too much and that the day will go by quickly. I also have some homework to do before the...
