Today I went to college again and after that I brought Eryk to work and did some little grocery shopping because I wanted to make a salad and bake some muffins again. What is really really really strange about Britain, is that they sell Christma stuff in August already! Is this normal?! It is still summer, so why think about Christmas already??  So when I came home I just quickly brought the laundry back inside and started cooking. I needed some dinner for myself so I went for spaghetti with broccoli sauce. This was really easy to prepare so once the noodles were in the pot and the sauce was cooking I started preparing everything for the muffins. Now my dinner is ready so I decided to quickly write a post before mixing together all the ingredients for the muffins. I will probably update you once they are done. Today we woke up earlier again, I washed my hair and after having a small snack me, Eryk and our house mates went on a long trip. We first needed to find our way to Dechmont as we wanted to see the Bangour Village Hospital. We don't exactly know what different buildings there are, but we know that it was a psychiatric hospital from 1904 until 2004. Now this place is empty and all you can find is many many closed down beautiful buildings. It is a bit spooky but also very fascinating. We first had to walk through the woods to actually get to the whole complex. We spent there about five hours and the weather was really great. The boys were checking the buildings out together and we, the girls had the cameras and snacks and we made our way to see as many buildings as possible. Yesterday in the evening, after I uploaded my post, me and my house mates went for a walk in the nearby woods. It was a very warm evening and we enjoyed the fresh air. Later we went to the shop to buy something for dinner and we, the girls went to bed earlier, whereas the boys were watching movies downstairs until about 4 in the morning. I didn't feel too well at night so at about 3;30 I went outside and had a short walk around the neighbourhood. It was a really warm and calm night, which made me happy. I felt safe and better. Then Eryk brought me back home and we went to bed. However, I couldn't fall asleep until about 5. It already got lighter outside when I was still trying to fall asleep. I got up at 10 today and the sky was cloudy, it was warm outside and it was hard to breath because of the humidity in the air. At first I wanted to go to town when Eryk was off to work. Hey! Today we got up at 9 and had some breakfast. Then we were just sitting at home and we were waiting for Eryk to go to work at 4 pm. I was also doing some house work and brought Eryk to work later on. The weather just turned from awesome into horrible and it is really creepy how quickly it changes here. Over the last days it was really hot and suddenly it is raining a bit and it is so terribly foggy outside. It looks like there was smoke or something everywhere. The castle in the city centre has disappeared in the fog and it really looks like winter right now. I want the summery days back and I just hope that they will be here soon and that they will last for a long time because I still want to get a tan!
