My uni holidays have started and I still didn't manage to blog because we went on a skiing holiday with my family and only came back yesterday. We went to Poland, near the Slovakian border and it was seriously in the middle of nowhere. Still, it was relaxing and so much fun. It was also Eryk's and mine first winter holiday together and we also had our 5th anniversary during that time, so it was pretty cool! Here are some photos of the trip- hope you like them :) Obviously, a skiing holiday meant a lot of snow and freezing temperatures, and although I was really scared of that, it wasn't that bad in the end. We went on a walk in the woods here and at some point I fell into the snow so deep that it went into my shoes and my feet were so sore from the cold. I had to take off my shoes and socks and get all the snow out. That part wasn't too cool, but I survived it. After my exam this morning I hurried back home to enjoy a hot cup of tea and some delicious Golden Syrup cake that we bought yesterday in Bobby's Foodstore. This place is a dream for all the people that miss the UK. Today even the sun came out, so now I'm sitting on my sofa, all cosy and warm, enjoying some warm sunrays and of course, my favourite Earl Grey tea and a few slices of the golden syrup cake, that I used to buy nearly every day back in Edinburgh. Later on I have to go back to uni one more time and then I'll be studying in the evening for tomorrow's exam. my current favourite jumper is this grey, oversized one from H&M - I pretty much live in it and I am not even lying. my jeans are from Bershka Hope you're all having a nice day too! :) -Olivia ~26.01.2017~

Hello everybody! Yesterday we had our National Holiday here in Austria, so like every year we headed into the city centre for a nice family walk. The weather is actually much better this week than it was over the last ones, which is very good. I could even leave my winter jacket at home, so that's a big plus. I must say that I was a bit disappointed by this years' National Holiday, because usually it's at one location, every year it's the same one, and this year it was scattered all over different areas, which was very confusing and unusual. But still, it was a nice day out. After our long walk around all the pretty, cobbled streets of Vienna, we went to a Chinese restaurant for some food, which was so tasty! We ate so much though, that once we got home we all had to nap first. And somehow I didn't manage to put this post up anymore, so that's why I'm doing it today! I wanted to study all day long today but due to some issues I wasn't home til now...

The Semester has only begun 2 weeks ago and I am already running out of time. I don't get to blog regularly anymore because of my days at uni and work, so all I have left to do everyhing is Sunday, and this again is not enough when I have to do all my homework, revision, house work, vlog editing, blogging etc. I also thought we would have a nice warm, sunny autumn, but turns out it is only grey, freezing and windy, often rainy and you really don't want to leave the house anymore. One day I was looking through my wardrobe and I realised that most of my stuff is great for summer, but not warm enough for the colder months, so I decided to get some new more cosy bits in. Now, over tha last few weeks I was wearing the same jumper over and over again. Even in one vlog I realised that I wore it everyday! It's so chunky and warm that I never want to take it off, so it looks like I need to get more new jumpers in the next weeks. I also realised that I had so many pairs of jea...

My dad is in Poland over the weekend so it's only ,my mum, brother and me at home for now. Since Noah starts school on Monday we thought it would be nice to go for a nice walk together before all the stress begins. I'm sure once school and uni starts for us, it will be pretty difficult to arrange something nice with the whole family. We also met up with my mum's best friend and her daughter and went for some lunch and as I said before, I walk around the busy city centre and some shops too. It's pretty cool and windy today and it also started raining a bit so then we knew it was time to go home and spend a cosy afternoon in. Also, me and my mum were both wearing heels and our feet got so sore that we were happy to be on our way home. I actually had to take off the shoes near the area we live and walk home barefoot. After working for three days in a row I am so exhausted that I already feel bad for being so weak actually. I ended up with a flu, which is not too pleasant, but at least I don't have to worry about College any more and I will only need to come back to work next weekend. I hope I will be healthy again by that time. I just returned from my GP and the pharmacy and am just sitting in my bed after quickly taking outfit pictures outside with Eryk. I decided to finally post something again and I feel like outfit posts are my favourite and somehow they always bring in the most views. So this shows that apart from me, there are also others that seem to enjoy this kind of posts. When my mum was over I already mentioned in the previous posts ( here and here ) that we did some shopping and also on Thursday I ended up buying myself a new bag. Yes, again. I actually felt so bad for doing this that I was thinking of returning it the same day, but then again I would regret it even more,...

It's a pretty awesome day today again, but since it is windy I decided not to go for a dress or skirt. I wore my high waisted skinny jeans, with a transparent black lacey-velvety top, plus my trench on top of that. My leopard bag and leather flats were also part of today's outfit and I feel like every outfit I'm wearing has those two elements in it. Whoopsie. I woke up to see a very cloudy sky and was immediately disappointed that I could not tan this morning. And since the weather didn't get better throughout the day, I had to wear something warmer than yesterday, and here's what I chose. I thought it was pretty plain but still a bit rocky and cool, so I guess I might wear this outfit more often now. The last week was just so terribly cold, rainy and windy that I wore my winter jacket again! I was so angry but I've risked wearing ballet flats and my trench one day and it ended badly for me. It started hailing and snowing and I didn't even have my umbrella with me. I was soaking wet and cold as hell that I even went to ASDA to buy a jumper to wear something more than just my thin blouse and the trench on top of that. The weekend didn't seem to be much nicer, but it was definitely warmer, though still rainy. Today we woke up to beautiful sunshine peaking into our room and some cloudless skies, which pleased me a lot. My phone weather app also told me that it is pretty warm outside and once Eryk had to leave for work, I went with him to enjoy this beautiful weather once again. Eryk and I went for a walk this afternoon and enjoyed the last warm sunshine of the day. In a fancy shop in the area we've been, we got ourselves some ice cream, but Eryk still doesn't feel too well and he decided not to eat anything. Still, we bought two ice cones and a tasty lemonade, that just looked too cute for me to not take it with me. I thought it would have a really zesty taste but it actually tastes more like apple than lemon to me - but I really like it! I know I have a very sexy look here, I am just perfect with posing in the sun... Juice in one hand, ice cone in the other - great! As I bought quite a lot and also got some gifts in Poland, I decided to make a video to show you all the clothes and other bits and bobs from beauty to home. I always like watching such videos, so I thought that maybe you would be interested in me doing one too. When it comes to clothes I bought three pairs of skinny jeans, a trench coat and two blouses. I also bought myself two pairs of leather shoes as an early Birthday gift. Beauty wise I bought a mascara, some nail polish and a face moisturiser. And then I even got some little things for our room too. Of course, sweets and other gifts had to be included too. I was really happy about the pretty sunshine today again because I could finally film a bit outside, like the Lookbook at the end of this haul video. Since I always had incredibly thick hair, my mum never allowed me to grow it long. The longest I got was about down to my shoulders. When I was 12 I started letting it grow a bit longer and I got a fringe, going from left to right. Once my hair got past my shoulders I decided to get it cut really short. This was summer 2010, and everyone, including me, thought it was a great idea. I got a bob and was happy with it for the first week. It looked cute and sleek and everything. But with time, when my hair started growing back, it just didn't grow the way I wanted it. It didn't want to get straight and it was sitting on my shoulders, which made the ends point outwards, and this drives me crazy. I started wearing it in a ponytail until it got acceptable, or until I could at least straighten it somehow. I knew I would never cut my hair this short again.
