A Walk Around Vienna

Image
Hello everyone! I am back with a new blog post after three weeks of not uploading anything. This is crazy and I feel so bad about it but work, uni and my 2 exam weeks really robbed all my free time this month. I am quite sad because since my vlogging camera broke, I thought I would blog more, but so far it didn't go as planned. So far I had five exams and there are three more to go until the end of this semester. Today I had a day without any exams, so I really need to study, but we also decided to go and explore Vienna a little bit for a few hours, so that I can also just take a break from studying like crazy. Recently I found out that there is a shop in Vienna that sells British food and I was like : OMG, I SO have to go there! And I thought today was a good day to drag Eryk to that shop. It is actually quite far from where I live and it was freezing so we nearly had a mental breakdown before arriving at the shop, but in the end we made it and we were really happy. That shop...

Christmas in Vienna

Image
Hello everyone! Time is flying by so fast and I didn't even realise that I haven't posted in ages already! This month is busier than I expected, so I'm trying to finish off all the homeworks, presentations and revise for my exams, plus I'm also working and somehow I don't even get time to sit down and watch a series, have a cup of tea and just relax for some time. So I really can't wait for my Christmas break, where I'll still have to work, but on the other days I will manage to do everything else I have to. Last week Eryk pretty spontaneously decided to come and stay for a few days since he had some time off. I had my exam week so I was rather nervous about this idea, but Eryk was relaxing, playing games and watching videos, while I was studying all day long until my exams. On one of these days I decided that I needed a short break so we decided to go to the city centre for an hour or two, just to have a stroll around, look at the small Christmas marke...

National Holiday 2016

Image
Hello everybody! Yesterday we had our National Holiday here in Austria, so like every year we headed into the city centre for a nice family walk. The weather is actually much better this week than it was over the last ones, which is very good. I could even leave my winter jacket at home, so that's a big plus. I must say that I was a bit disappointed by this years' National Holiday, because usually it's at one location, every year it's the same one, and this year it was scattered all over different areas, which was very confusing and unusual. But still, it was a nice day out. After our long walk around all the pretty, cobbled streets of Vienna, we went to a Chinese restaurant for some food, which was so tasty! We ate so much though, that once we got home we all had to nap first. And somehow I didn't manage to put this post up anymore, so that's why I'm doing it today! I wanted to study all day long today but due to some issues I wasn't home til now...

Cosy Autumn Outfit

Image
The Semester has only begun 2 weeks ago and I am already running out of time. I don't get to blog regularly anymore because of my days at uni and work, so all I have left to do everyhing is Sunday, and this again is not enough when I have to do all my homework, revision, house work, vlog editing, blogging etc. I also thought we would have a nice warm, sunny autumn, but turns out it is only grey, freezing and windy, often rainy and you really don't want to leave the house anymore. One day I was looking through my wardrobe and I realised that most of my stuff is great for summer, but not warm enough for the colder months, so I decided to get some new more cosy bits in. Now, over tha last few weeks I was wearing the same jumper over and over again. Even in one vlog I realised that I wore it everyday! It's so chunky and warm that I never want to take it off, so it looks like I need to get more new jumpers in the next weeks. I also realised that I had so many pairs of jea...

Lookbook from Toruń

Image
If you haven't seen the first blog post from my Toruń "series" then check this out first! The weather was better than I expected it to be and I also packed 4 outfits for the 3 days in case I would get something dirty or if I was too cold or uncomfortable etc. I am actually really proud of myself because for the first time probably I packed really well and I didn't complain about my choices. I took two jackets with me, one for the colder days and one for the warmer days. And I have to say that in the mornings and evenings I wore the cream furry jacket from Primark, whereas during the day I wore my bomber jacket from Forever21. And unfortunately for some reason we forgot the camera in the hotel room on the first day, so I don't have any good photos from that day. DAY 1 I managed to take a quick and rubbish selfie that I sent to my mum after I got ready at the bus station bathroom at 7 am. On the ceremony day I wore this pretty dress in this rusty colour...

My OOTD: City Centre Walk

Image
Another day off, another day exploring. We woke up to some beautiful sunshine, let Maya out of the cage, had a slow morning and decided to head into the city centre to get to know new places. Once we arrived in the 1st district of Vienna, we quickly made our way through the busy streets towards the small, unknown paths. There we felt so relaxed. These places are so quiet, nobody is stressed, everyone is in a good mood. It's perfect for a summer day walk. We were wandering around for about three hours, then went to grab some Chinese noodles that we both absolutely love and finally headed home. I have to say that we are really exhausted after today's trip, but we surely enjoyed it a lot! This is actually the best photo where you can see my whole outfit- I'm wearing; white crop top - New Yorker navy, red & white striped skirt - Forever21 cream sandals - Forever21 sunglasses - Love Moschino red leather satchel - Vigneron ...

My OOTD: Day At The Military Museum

Image
Today I had a day off again and it's a beautiful, sunny, hot summer day that I really didn't want to spend at home. A few days ago I was looking for places to explore since Eryk is in Vienna finally again, and I found this Military Museum, and because Eryk is very much into such things I thought we would go and have some fun. As I mentioned above, it was really hot and the way to this museum was so long and tiring that I thought we wouldn't even make it there. But we arrived eventually and started exploring all the exhibitions, which were very interesting. I felt like we looked through everything quickly, without making too long stops, but then again I'm not sure if me maybe missed something- but according to the plan we saw it all. After the visit to the museum we were so hungry that we went for some Chinese noodles that were just so delicious! With full bellies we quickly went to H&M and then off home we went. So, to finish off this quick post, here's wha...

My OOTD: A Day At The Zoo With Eryk

Image
Hi guys! Today is such a beautiful day that Eryk and I decided to go to the zoo. He's never been to the one in Vienna before and I just thought it is a nice place to go to on a sunny day. We are now totally exhausted after about 5 hours of walking and seeing all the animals there. After that we also went for a drink and now it's time to relax. Due to the high temperatures I went for my new shorts from TkMaxx that I also already showed in  this post .  My white plain cami top is from Zara and I really like the delicate ribbed structure it has. It's a very floaty top and goes with any bottoms really, which is what I find cool. And to carry around all my things I chose my red leather satchel from Vigneron. I absolutely adore this beautiful bag and whenever I am out of the house when I'm not at uni or at work, I will try to take this bag out.  My sandals are from Forever21 and I had to choose my shoes wisely today because I knew we'd be walking for ho...

My OOTD: Summer Date Night

Image
As you may already know, I got some days off work and travelled to Poland to relax and I was really hoping for amazing weather, which only really was nice today. The other days were rather cool and windy, but still, this outfit was warm enough to go out in the evening. Eryk and I went to town, to a few shops, for a walk and for some dinner, which was tasty but we were so full after that, that I thought my belly would explode. Plus, I wore those heeled sandals and I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to walk anymore. body-hugging denim dress - H&M Monochrome print cardigan - H&M crochet crop top - Stradivarius burgundy leather cross body bag - Vigneron black heeled sandals - Forever21 nail polish - Barry M ( Ballerina) lipstick - Golden Rose ( 14) black watch - Swatch Still, I really enjoyed this evening, walking around the city centre at a time when it's not busy anymore. We managed to take some blog shots, which made me very happy a...
