My Drugstore Favourites | Beauty

Image
Today after College, Eryk, a friend of Eryk and I met up in town and went to a Chinese restaurant to have a chat, and of course something to eat. After that we were just strolling around the city centre, but it started raining and we went back home. Now I was trying to sort all the documents and so on and it is already 8, so it is about time for me to write today's blog post, right? So I decided to write about 5 products I got from Boots or Superdrug, that I really enjoy using, and that I keep repurchasing. The first product I'll talk about is the Soap&Glory SugarCrush body scrub. It smells like fresh limes, (really!), its scrub bits are not too harsh to your skin, but definitely leave it in a nicer, softer condition than before using it. It comes in a 300ml tub and costs 8£, which to me is a bit pricey, but I am in love with the smell, so I'm glad to have it. Mainly of course, because I tend to have really dry skin that I'd like to get rid of once in a whi...

My WoodWick Candle

Image
After writing this post about the candles I have, I went on Amazon and ordered myself another candle. A WoodWick. I've already had one, when I got it for Christmas last year and I instantly fell in love with it. I had it in the scent Cranapple Punch, which was quite a christmassy scent, and it was absolutely beautiful! Before leaving Austria,  there was not much of it left, so I decided not to take it overseas and gave it to my mum. And now I felt like having this candle again would make me feel like being home, with my family, in my very own room and in Vienna. So when I found this candle, with the scent called Currant, I just went for it and couldn't wait for it to arrive at my doorstep. And to be honest, it smells very, very similar to my first one, if not even basically the same. Again, an absolutely beautiful scent to have at home. Now, the special thing about this candle is that it has a special wood wick, which creates a crackling sound, as if you were sitting nex...

Scented Candle Addict

Image
As you may have already realised, I am kind of a candle addict. I try not to stock up too much on them because I actually want to see them and smell them burn. And if I had too many different ones at the same time, there would always be some of them left unlit. I've always bought scented candles from IKEA, which are great, but I've burnt down all of the ones I had when I still lived in Vienna. I also had one from Primark, in a rectangular piece of glass, and it's Vanilla smell was just amazing! Last Christmas I even got three small Yankee Candles from the Christmas Range, but I didn't have enough space in my luggage to take them all with me when I was moving out. And one of the nicest candles I've had was one from WoodWick, which was also a Christmas gift last year. It had a crackling noise and such a beautifully shaped jar, which could be actually reused as a small bouquet vase. I nearly burnt it down fully before leaving, so I gave it to my mum and she placed i...

My OOTD 15 and Lookbook!

Image
Hello my dear people! Today is Friday, which is very nice! My family from Poland is coming over to visit us and I can't wait to see my cousins! Today I want to show you what I wore and then I'll pick my brother up from nursery, clean up the mess in my room and bake muffins. So let's get started! :) Ok so my make up is the usual one, and I put on a thin layer of the Astor lip balm, and this is how it looks after 7 hours. I think it faded away quite nicely! :) Next, you can see my accesories, my Scottish bag, a floral belt I got somewhere in Poland once, my beautiful rings that my boyfriend bought for me, and a nice necklace with some cool stuff on it that I bought at I am. I also wore my Bershka skinny jeans and my favourite black Vans.  I think it is a very comfortable outfit and I really like it. :) I hope you enjoyed this really short post and you can follow me on Google+, bloglovin, and on Lookbook! :) PS: Don't forget to come back tomorrow...

So much to show!

Image
Hello! It is a lovely day and I wanted to show you some things! First of all, you'll see my outfit of the day and my hair, then what I am eating right now and what I bought after school. So let's start! :) As you can see, the sun is shining again and sun makes me happy! :) Here you can see my hair, that I braided yesterday in the evening before going to bed. I am not good at all at doing nice hair styles, but this actually looked okay. My outfit is the favourite one, so again everything is from H&M, but the shoes were bought in Poland two summers ago at a local market. And I just love these shoes! They are one of my favourite pairs and I am too sad that they are dirty :( Smiley :) As you can see, they are a bit dirty and a bit damaged, but I still love them! And they look pale here, but in fact they look like in the picture below and the one with my whole outfit. I love wearing them in Summer, but also now, with skirts or dresses, they just look so c...

Follow me around! 20.02.2014

Image
After school I had to go home and go to town again as I had to buy something and forgot to take the money with me. At home I grabbed my camera and took some pictures on my way. So: Follow me around! :) Today it is really warm! (12 degrees!!) and I just wore my Levi's jeans jacket, my Bershka skinny jeans, my red striped Vans and my Eat Haggis and Ceilidh on bag. As I had only a black top, I put on a white sweater and it really was perfect to go outside, I wasn't sweating and I really wasn't cold either! Just perfect! I love this bag!  My red striped Vans that I didn't show here yet, but have them for over a year already. I really like them but there is a problem. The area that covers your naked foot like mine in this picture, is made of leather and on the back above your heel there is a thick stitch that always makes my skin sore there. :( On the way to the tram... Gym outside my livingroom windows... Way to the subway... I hav...

My OOTD 13 and English Booster!

Image
Hello ! :) It is so late already! Well, today our English Booster week started, which is basically 30 hours of English only and with native speakers, one from London and one from Edinburgh(!! so cool!! ). Tody we already had 6 hours and some of the students are complaining about it, what I can totally not understand, because I think this is such a great opportunity to practise quite intensly before having our final exams. Personally, I really like this English Booster project and I am happy that I can take part in it, as it is also quite fun! So after 6 hours of English, we went for an hour maths ( only a small group of my friends as we need some help from a better teacher than ours) and we were supposed to finish at about 15:15. Well, so after that we could finally go home and when there was only Nina and me left on the tube suddenly the driver said that the tube is out of order and that passengers can take the tram instead. So imagine the mass of people in a capital city, in the ce...

♥ My small bag collection ♥

Image
Good afternoon people! :) I hope you have a sunny Saturday and that you enjoy the weekend! I am sitting in my bed and studying for my biology test and now I am taking a small break and thought that I could show you my bag collection! It is maybe wrong to call it a collection, but that's why I called it a small one. I have just a couple of bags that I use the most, and all the other ones (which were amazing and also very beautiful!!) I decided to give to someone or just sell them, as I never really knew how to wear them and I was sad to give them away because they were so cute, but I also didn't want to keep them hidden somewhere. So I will show you the bags that I currently have and I hope that you'll like them! :) And also, please keep in mind that they are not in the order of how much I like them, because I really can't say which one is my favourite! First of all we have my GABS bag that was also part of one of my OOTD's, I told you already that you can clip ...
