Autumn Empties (Face, Hair, Body)

Image
Hello everyone and welcome back on the blog! Since I'm so busy lately I don't even have enough time to blog properly, but today I decided it was time again to create some content for you. I actually wanted to film an empties video because I think it is just so much nicer, but until I managed to get this thing started it was already way too dark to film anything. So I decided go write some lines- still better than nothing. It's actually not too many empty products this time, but the boxn is surely full and ready to be emptied.  HAIR I used up my Batiste Eden dry shampoo and it really made me sad because Batiste is so expensive here in Vienna (and also hard to get). I also haven't seen this new scent over here yet, so this is even worse. Over the last few months (from August until now, the end of October) I've been using this about once a week. It helped me not washing my hair every two days on the hot days, but every third day and this was seriously lif...

Spring Nail Polish | Beauty

Image
Since the weather is really getting nice recently, with more sunny and warm days and flowers starting to show up everywhere, I feel like spring is finally coming! The temperature stays at around 10 degrees and I really hope that it will rise a bit more soon and that the terrible wind will go by too. For this reason I felt like showing you the nail polishes I'll be wearing throughout this spring, since I really like the fresh, but delicate colours. Most of them are pastels and I think they are great for spring! I didn't want to go crazy and chose all the shades from my little collection and tried to show about 5- so we have six. At first I would like to mention the Ciate paint pot in the shade PP102 DOLLS HOUSE. It is a nude, shiny nail polish, with teeny tiny sparkly bits in it. It is kind of translucent but it does give you a very light pink shade. I think this is great for girls who prefer to keep their nails simple, but to actually have some detail on them. ...

Sally Hansen Nail Shields | Review

Image
So, it hasn't been a long time since I wrote the first entry about this topic. But it is a good moment for me to share my opinion and feelings on the Sally Hansen Nail Shields I bought on Monday. First I'd like to say that the idea is a very good one and the stickers are made basically perfectly. You can't tell you are wearing them on your nails, they just look like a very, very light nude nail polish. If you apply a sticker, that is a bit too narrow for your nail, you will see the edge but only from the side. They are easy to apply, which is also a very positive thing in my opinion. To take them off you can either pull them off your nails, scratch them off or remove them with a nail polish remover, also quite easily. Now, I had the shields on my nails for five and a half days before I decided to take them off. The pack says that they last up to 14 days and I think that this is maybe even possible, provided that you don't play with your nails, don't get anyt...

Sally Hansen 14 Day Nail Shield | Test

Image
Today before College, while waiting for the bus I went to the pharmacy and found those Sally Hansen soft nail stickers, that are said to protect your nails for up to 14 days. They were a total bargain so I thought: why not try them? As my nails are a complete mess, break all the time and are way too short, I started using a nail treatment from Eveline and so far I think it is quite cool, but today I removed it and decided to stick one the strange stickers and to see whether they actually really help. In one pack you get these jelly like, soft stickers in different sizes, a buffer and a cuticle stick. You take the stickers out of the foil, chose the size you want to apply to each nail and then you remove a thin plastic layer, and then the nail sticker from the paper and place them on your nails as neatly as possible. Then, if the sticker is too long, use the buffer to kind of cut off the excess and you are basically ready. I have to say that I am quite impressed, as the stickers ...

New Year's Eve 2014

Image
2014 has been a very big and busy year for me I'd say. In April, it was my 18th Birthday, In May, I had my written final exams at High School, In June, I had my oral final exams and my graduation, In July, I moved to Scotland to continue education, In December, I managed to see my family again after 5 months. And now this year is already coming to an end and I'm asking myself how 2015 will be. Is it going to be a better one or a worse one? We'll see, but now the only thing we can do is to wait and to celebrate. Eryk invited some friends over for tonight and we'll have a little home party. I don't know yet whether we'll be going somewhere else later or not. But I chose my outfit and I kept it simple but also a bit different than usual. I kept my make-up simple because I didn't really want to create a disaster in the end. I used my Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara ( the orange and black one), Barry M eyeliner above my upper eyelashes and my Bourjois R...

Poland Haul

Image
As you probably already know, I arrived in Scotland last night after a week of Christmas holidays with  my family in Poland. My journey was a complete nightmare to be honest and I am still totally exhausted. My parents brought me to the airport in Poland and waited with me until there were only 40 minutes left until my flight, as we could see each other through a glass wall all the time. Then they left and I went to the last passport control and waited for the boarding sign to appear. However, due to very bad weather conditions, my flight was 5 hours late in the end, as the plane couldn't take off in Glasgow on time. I could have spent these 8 hours I spent at the airport, with my family instead. At half past two in the morning ( Polish time) we finally took off and I landed in Glasgow more than two hours later. I was lucky enough as Eryk and his dad picked me up because I wouldn't be able to go to Edinburgh on my own any more. My journey from leaving the house until entering t...

Shopping Trip to Łódź

Image
Today after breakfast some of us went to a city called  Łódź, to a bit shopping centre and afterwards to another one too. It was freezing outside because the temperature sank to -10 degrees and when we had a break from shopping, we left the main building and went around it to go to an Italian restaurant and I only wore leggings and a jumper... Well, I was cold. But I ate a whole Margherita, which was totally crazy and made me feel sick again. I really need to stop eating because it makes my stomach go crazy. However, I got some things as you can tell from the picture, and some more too and I will definitely show all of them when I am back in Scotland.   Also, I am sorry that it is THAT late, but we just arrived at home as we went to see some friends after our shopping trip, and we spent some more time there than expected. Tomorrow I will visit my cousin and on Monday I will already have my flight back to Scotland. I will still have some free time so maybe I'll get all o...

Favourite Beauty Products | September

Image
As I published the Favourites post about other things, now it is time to talk about beauty. I really don't have many beauty products, only what I need. I would really love to have really excited beauty products but right now, I am not in such a good financial situation to buy whatever I'd like to. But still, I think that there are some changes from month to month, regarding preferred beauty products. 1) I am in love with the coconut lip calm from Yves Rocher. It is so soft and so creamy and it smells so nice as well. I use it so often during the day that it is nearly empty already, and I bought this one at the airport on my way to Scotland in April. This is actually my second lip balm of this scent and it surely is my most used one. I also have one that smells like raspberries but it is tinted so this one is better for on the go in my opinion. My lips are usually dry and I need to have lip care everywhere I go, so this one is always in my bag to protect my lips. 2)...

Poland Day 15

Image
Hello everybody! Today I woke up with an upset stomach, which isn't too cool. I took some medicine and was hoping that it would get better during the day. Eryk watched some Etho series and I went outside to tan a bit again because the sun wasn't too bad! Later Eryk's friend came over to his place and they were having fun with some airsoft guns, they even went somewhere by car together. My aunt and me stayed in the sun as the kids were at my granny's and we had some relaxing time. Later Eryk came over and we watched Gravity finally ( we wanted to watch it already when I was in Scotland for the first time). Later my cousin came over to say goodbye to me and when she left, Eryk, my uncle and I watched a Polish movie I've already seen twice. I still think it is a very good movie and I wasn't bored at all. Eryk wants to watch another movie now but as it is nearly 11 pm I know that I will fall asleep, so I hope he won't force me to watch it with him, because yeste...

Poland Day 13 & 14 (Birthday party and new haircut!)

Image
Hello! Yesterday was Noah's 5th birthday and we had a small family party over at my granny's house. It was qutie nice and funny as well. In the evening we went back to my aunt and Kinga came over to stay overnight again. We went to Eryk's and Karina's house and we had a very long night again. also, two other friends came for a while and it was nice I'd say. We had fun and again we have new memories. We came over to my house very late and I fell asleep at about 3am and woke up at 5:30. I seriously don't even know why this is happening every day now. When i had school or even weekends in school time I sed to sleep until 10 and I'd still be tired, but now I go to bed lat and wake up very early and am alright. this is good somehow because I can do more on a day than usually. So at about 10am also Kinga and Eryk woke up and then my other cousin picked me and Kinga up and brought her home. We went to the hairdresser's however and I got my hair cut finally a...
