Chocolate Cake And Muffins | Recipe

Image
I was browsing the Internet for some new dinner ideas and found this cake recipe by accident - it was not supposed to be dinner! Since I had all the needed ingredients at home, I decided that I could have a try. So I did and here's the recipe, should you want to try it too! INGREDIENTS: -3 cups of plain flour -1 cup of oil -1 cup of milk -3 eggs -3 full tablespoons of cocoa ( I went for pure cocoa powder, so my cake is a bit more bitter than it would turn out if I used sweet cocoa- I guess you can choose whatever you like more.) - half of a jar of your favourite jam ( I've used apricot jam, but I can't really tell it is in the cake) -2 teaspoons of soda - I also added 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar You can make a chocolate icing too, but I didn't have it at home, so I didn't do it. STEPS: 1) Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. 2) Mix the eggs and sugar until you get a smooth texture. 3) Then, add the liquids - the milk, oil and the jam. Mix wel...

Nutella Muffins | Recipe

Since I lately never had all of the ingredients needed for any kinds of muffins, but really missed baking already, I finally managed to bake these ones yesterday. I got the recipe from mu Butlers Muffin and Cupcake recipe book I bought in Vienna before moving out. So, here's how I made them: INGREDIENTS: -100g of soft butter -120g of sugar -2 eggs -120g of flour -1 tablespoon of cocoa powder -1/2 teaspoon of baking powder -100g of Nutella STEPS 1) Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C. 2) Mix the butter and sugar in a bowl, add the eggs. 3) Mix flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a different bowl and add to the first mixture. 4) Then add Nutella and stir or mix again for some seconds. 5) Put the dough in the muffin cases and bake for 20 minutes. 6) Let them cool down and you are done! Of course you can add a frosting but I preferred them this way. I really like them and they are simple to prepare. Let me know if you...

Monthly Random Favourites | November

Image
Today you are going to see all the other things I've loved throughout November- here they are! First we have the apple crumble pie I've already baked twice. It is amazing, quite easy and quick in preparation and it will be gone very quickly once it's made! I posted the recipe to it here . I got myself a beautiful dress from Primark some time ago. And you won't believe how much I paid for it! It was totally reduced to 3£ only!!!! The colours are so bright, the dress itself is very loose, it has sleeves that go up to your elbows and on the back you tie a bow and off you go! To see it fully, click here . I am totally in love with it and I hope that it will stay so pretty for some time at least! I also included our brand new WoodWick candle that arrived this week. I ordered it off Amazon and it is just a dream! Surely my favourite candle ever! I also filmed it and you can see it here , and I also wrote about it here . I totally recommend it to everyone! ...

Autumn Must-Haves

It's all about being cosy and warm in autumn. As the weather is getting worse, there is less sunshine and more rainy clouds, it is good to keep yourself cosy and warm at home. Or on the go if needed. I personally, love the summer and I could live during summer all year long. It is just much comfier I think, you don't need to think too long about how to combine your outfit so that you won't be freezing but also not too hot. And in summer it is warm, at least most of the time, you can do so many things outside and enjoy the nice weather. In autumn you have to think more about amusement at home, I think.                                               Well, so here are my Autumn essentials. :)                             1) Some good Hot Chocolate I am not that much a hot chocolate person, I could d...
