The first snowflakes appeared already some days ago and two nights ago Eryk and I even jumped into our onesies and ran outside just to stand there while heavy snow was falling. Yesterday's weather was just a total disaster, it was terribly stormy, raining, snowing, there was a hailstorm and basically it was not the best day to leave the house, right? Today I got up before 10 and got ready as I had another doctor's appointment and the snow at the time I had to leave was so strong that I would prefer to stay in my cosy and warm bed. But Eryk walked there with me and by the time I could go home the snow stopped. Then I went to college and the snow came back and didn't calm down until the evening. When I came home,  I had a hot tea and Eryk cooked dinner for us. Then I managed to call my mum and tell her about the doctor's appointment and everything else that's going on at the moment. Winter is the time of dry and chapped lips, for sure. It is a thing that probably every girl and also guy has to struggle with and to find a good remedy for dry lips can take some time unfortunately. I've tried so many lip balms throughout my life that I don't even know how many I had in total up to now. But my lip balm obsession never stopped, which means that also today, I have to try out so many of them. As I already said, there are so many lip balms that are advertised as very good ones and worth buying and all that stuff, and in the end they turn out to be really average or not helpful at all. That's what I've experienced many, many times too. However, I have some lip products in cute little metal tins, that seem to work quite well. Having long hair also means having hair in your face. In some situations like writing something, reading, cooking or doing your make-up,  this can be really annoying.  For this reason it can be useful to know some very quick and easy hairstyles that actually only take your hair out of your face without the need to tie all of it into a ponytail, a braid or a bun. My hair is extremely difficult to handle as it somehow always looks awkward when I tie it back, do I don't tend to do this too often. As this is annoying too, I just simply grab four bobby pins and twist the front sections and pin them back, or I create kind of a pin-up style and so on. Today I thought of all the gifts that are laying around in a big bag in our closet and I decided to wrap them up already. At least some of them. There is actually still plenty of time left, but as I still need to get more gifts, to be honest - most of the gifts, and get some college work done before my flight to Poland, I'd prefer to not leave everything until the last second. So, to get myself a bit more into the christmassy spirit, here's what I'm doing just now! Also, let's not forget that it is definitely hot chocolate time. On Friday I went to town and I got myself these beauties , as you may have already seen. I also got myself these two dresses, that I won't fully show just now as I don't have any outfit shots wearing them yet. But I will make this post a little spoiler for you and show you the prints of the dresses They are made of this thin, transparent material, with some dark non transparent fabric underneath. Also, these dresses are a bit more wintery, for a change, as most of my dresses are typical summer dresses and not too adequate for this time of the year. The first dress is quite silky and it has long sleeves. I usually never go for long sleeved dresses, but this one was just amazing and the length of the sleeves is also perfect. Today I finally received my AVON order and also two additional gifts, which made me even more excited. I went for my favourite body mist, in the scent Cherry Blossom, as I ran out of it some time ago already. It is in a 100 ml plastic bottle, which I like very much. I had the body mist at nearly all of my flights in my hand luggage, over the last year and it is just so handy to make yourself feel a bit fresh if you need it or so. I then got three other products, and all of them are eye pencils. I don't know why I wanted them, I just felt like they seem nice and it wouldn't harm anyone to have a little addition to my rather small make-up collection. So, I got a thick pencil, which is called "big colour" in the shade Gold Rush. And even though I already have a very similar one to this from Oriflame, this one is more gold than copper gold and I thought that especially for Christmas make-up styles it would look great! Today I went to town and I also popped into the Clarks shop and found these little cute leather loafers. I was looking for such shoes for ages now but I could never really decide on a pair. Also, I wanted them to be made of real leather, so these ones looked pretty good to me. They are certainly not the perfect winter shoes, but as long as it is not too cold and not snowing, I can still wear them with tights and dresses or skirts to be honest. Of course, once I am in Poland this will be no option at all but then I can wear them in spring again and I am sure that these shoes will make my feet really happy. The soles are so soft, they are the softest I've ever seen ( felt ) and they are just so comfortable to walk in. I can't really write too much about a pair of shoes, so pictures will surely describe them better. Also, this is my second pair of Clarks shoes and as I am very very pleased with my first pair, I also expect these ones to be amazing. And finally I have black shoes...
