My OOTD: Stripes & Suede Skirt

Hello guys!
I've done a tiny bit of shopping over the last few days and so I managed to get a totally new outfit, which I absolutely love!

I love how the stripey top looks like tucked into this A-shaped mini-skirt, which has a suede-like fabric. I really like that because I wasn't too keen on getting a real leather skirt being not able to wash it at home.
I was looking for such a skirt for absolute ages and now that I found this, I think I'll live in it.
To stay warm I threw on my also new fluffy dusty pink cardigan, which is so comfy and cosy that I don't want to take it off.

striped t-shirt - H&M
fluffy dust pink cardigan - Forever21
suede-like A-line skirt - Forever21
black tights - Primark

I also like how my hair looks like today. I never managed to create a messy bun, so today was pretty special to me! :D

(No coral phone anymore, now I have a new one with a minty case, which I actually like a lot!)

I paired the clothes with my black Vans and I also wore my winter coat out because it was freezing in the morning!

Plus, I bought some pretty tulips for my office today and I already feel much better, cause it feels like spring might be coming soon.

Hope you all have a nice weekend! :)

February Beauty Favourites VIDEO

Hello everybody,
I want to apologise for being absent for sooo many days, but we're currently finishing off the flat, so it's still busy and since uni starts in some time again, we want to make sure it all gets done by that time.
But, to make it up a bit I decided to film a video about my February Beauty Favourites rather than writing a blog post, and I even recorded the video in my new flat, which is why everything looks so empty and not very inviting. But no worries, I promise you that it starts looking nicer and that in some time I'll be able to make nicer videos and blog photos!

So, here's the video for you to watch and as always, make sure to let me know what you think about it, suggest some blog post and video ideas, cause I'd love to hear what you'd like to see here! :)

Thank you for watching!

KIKO Lipstick Haul

Hello everybody!
A few days back I went to town go get myself a certain lipstick from KIKO and there I decided to get a second one too, because why not?
So, I wore those lipsticks a few times already but didn't have a good occasion to take proper pictures of them and to write something here.

So, maybe you've already seen the Endless Love lipstick range- it is just SO cute! I couldn't decide what colour to choose, but I went for the dark pinky-purply shade that I think matches my complexion the best. The shade is called 05 Soft Marsala and what I absolutely love about this lipstick is that the heart already tells you exactly what the colour looks like. It's not only cute-looking but also practical.

But obviously the main reason why I got the lipstick from the Best Friends Forever collection is the shape of it! They are all heart shaped and it seemed to be just such a fun thing. I really wanted to have a lipstick like that and so I just got it straight away.
(You can also get amtching lip liners but I already have a very similar one at home, so I didn't feel like I really needed another one just now).
The lipstick comes in this silver shiny packaging that looks so glamourous, but the heart makes it just perfect- not too strict, and not too childish.
I thought this could have been a cute Valentine's day present by the way.
I really like this colour because it is bold, but not shiny, it's pretty matte and that's what I think makes a really cool finish. What's important is that the lipstick doesn't dry out my lips, it keeps them moisturised and it stays on all day long! And it is so affordable too! If you have the chance- go and grab one before they're all gone!

Here's a little pouty-face selfie :D

And the second lipstick is the retractable smooth temptation lipstick in a dusty pink/ nude shade. It's called 05 Peony. Both the first and this colour are my favourites when it comes to lipstick. This one is just perfect for everyday wear because it isn't too different from my natural lip colour, but my lips just look much better with it on. The big problem I have is my scars that I get from my constant cold sores. My lips don't really have real edges anymore cause the pigment there kind of faded, so I like to wear those shades to kind of conceal the "blank spaces" but still making sure that my lips look as natural as possible.

Let me know what you think about those two lipsticks, cause at the moment they are my favourites! :)

Love Me Green Product Review

Hello everyone,
after a few days of being very busy in my flat, I finally have some spare time to quickly write a blog post that I was supposed to do such a long time ago already!

A few weeks back I got a parcel from the brand Love Me Green with some products to try out and review. I got a little set with three full size products, plus two samples that came in a cute little bag that reminds me very much of Christmas time when children get gifts on the 6th of December here in Austria- usually in that kind of bags- so cute!

The brand produces only vegeterian beauty products- and some are even vegan, they guarantee that there is no animal cruelty involved in the whole process, which is a very big plus I think!
Their beauty prodcuts are packed with natural exotic scents and aromas.
All products are made in France, contain no parabens, silicones, paraffins nor petroleum. And even the packaging the products come from are made in an environmentally friendly! I also like the design of the packaging so much!

I'm gonna quickly talk you through the products I got, which are available either separately or in a set.

Let's start with the energising face peeling: It's an organic scrub with orange and argan oil- those ingredients have a soothing and revialising effect; the orange oil also supports cell renewal. The scrub has pretty rough particles, however there's not too many of them and the gel makes sure the scrub is not too harsh on your face, and I was really surprised by how gentle it cleanses. This scrub doesn't leave your face red after the treatment and therefore is suitable for even very sensitive skin in my opinion.
What I really like about this brand is that you can find all interesting ingredients to each product on their website! (Make sure to click the links to see yourself)

Next we have a regenerating night face cream that I've been using every night before bed time since my skin got so, so dry from all the dust and dirt that comes with a flat refurbishing.
This stimulating anti-aging creme contains royal jelly and provides your skin with essential nutrients and regenerates it over night. In the morning your skin is already relaxed and nourished.
The consistency is rather thick, but very easy to spread and massage into your face and neck. The scent is called Frangipani (which I've never heard before, but found out online again) and it is not too intense, which is very important to me when it comes to skincare.

The third product is a radiance face cream, and with those three products you already have a new skincare routine, with all products pretty much working together, assuring the right balance for your face.
This regenerating face cream contains pomegranate seed oil and supports cell renewal, the ingredients also improve skin elasticity. The cream absorbs very quickly so you can apply your make-up straight away- it doesn't leave a gresy film behind and your skin can breathe without any problem so you feel relaxed  and comfortable all day long. This cream again, has a very pretty but subtle exotic scent that gives you a pretty summery feeling already in winter.

And to finish off this post we have the two little samples- first, the regenerating day face cream  which is pretty similar to the radiance face cream. It again, is suitable for all skin types giving you a firming, nourishing, regenerating treatment.
And secondly, the slimming green tea body cream which contains green tea and coffee beans. Their extracts have caffeine, which helps reduce body fat. The cream stimulates cell metabolism, improves skin firmness and gives you a healthy skin tone too!

All in all I have to say that these are all amazing products, all organic and containing such great ingredients. They are surely worth trying out, so make sure to have a look online ;)

Hope you all have a nice weekend!

Study & Exam Tips

As you all know I started studying in Vienna last autumn and now that I've passed all my exams up til now, I thought I could give you a few quick tips how to succeed in school and at uni.

I have always been the language-person, so apart from that, I don't really know much because most of the stuff I only learned by heart for the exams. Well, there are obviously topics that I'm very interested in too, so don't worry.

My first tip when it comes to studying and exams is being organised. There is no worse thing than waking up and realising it's the day of your exam and you totally forgot about it.
For this reason I recommend having an agenda and just taking every single piece of information down. Just to be safe. During the semester I even wrote down every single lecture I had on which day, because I wouldn't remember. Now that I have a break, I don't have much in my calender, but it will fill up again soon.

When you start revision, make sure you plan how much you're gonna try to learn each day up to the exam. You need to know how long it will approximately take you until you're completely confident and then just plan ahead. Try to keep your "deadlines", and don't try to learn the whole semester in 3 days before the exam- this won't help anymore.
Also, I never thought I'd be able to study at night back when I was in school. I could only study up til 9 pm and that was it. But now things have changed a lot,so I'm actually studying from 8 pm until two or three in the morning, due to the fact that I can sleep in longer now.

Keep your notes neat, don't scribble something down very quickly, only to realise a few hours later that you can't even read your own hand writing.
I, for example, was taking as many notes as I could during lectures and would rewrite them at home again to make them look prettier and more organised so that I could find specific information more quickly.
Also, if you have to get books, create a space for all your study stuff, don't scatter everything across your whole room ( You can tell by now that to me organisation is the most important tip)

If you are a person who gets distracted easily, find a quiet spot, declutter your working space, keep everything around you tidy, so you don't have to suddenly tidy up the room because you need to find something important.
If you are a person that can't stay in total silence for a few hours in a row ( like me), then play some quiet music, take breaks when you feel like you can't do this anymore. But- stay disciplined. Make sure to come back and actually learn the rest! :D

What I also need before I decide to revise is all my study essentials just next to me so I can reach them whenever I need them.
A few of them are for example: something to drink, a sweet snack ( or many- depending on how depressed you are), my glasses, cosy clothes and a blanket to keep me warm. I also study in my bed where it's generally comfy and warm, I feel like this relieves my stress and anger a bit and makes studying a lot more acceptable.

If you learn something you're interested in, it'll be a lot easier for you to accept the fact that you need to know this stuff by a certain date, which is why I chose to study language science. It is hard at times, but it's definitely something I enjoy doing a lot more than maths or physics. Trust me.
Choose the studies you feel like they suit your personality. It will make life easier for you.

That's all I can really say. Organisation is key. If you have no plan where to start, what to do, how to do it- then it will only make you even more depressed and things will take you so much longer to get done. Stress makes everything worse. Stay calm and you will get it done!

Hope this helps a little bit. :)
Have a nice Sunday afternoon!

Rainy Day - Cosy Clothes

Hello everyone,
today I'm back with a new OOTD and I actually wanted to take some pictures outside somewhere, with a cool background, but the rain is just crazy and I was happy enough to be home so early.
I had an exam today, which I am very terrified about now because I really need to pass it.
Then I had to sort out a few more things and now, even though it is not even 2pm, I feel like it's already so late, since I've been up since 7.
But, now over to the outfit- let me know if you like it!

black knit dress - Primark
Tartan flannel shirt - Esprit
black tights - Primark
black knitted scarf - Primark
black Vans Authentic Lo

black faux leather jacket - Pimkie
+ Fossil leopard Sidney shopper

My make-up is the usual one, since I didn't want to have a make-up drama right before my exam. ( obviously)

I'll now sit and wait for my exam results, which freaks me out a lot. And if I pass it, I'll have lots of free time until March!

Have a nice day everyone!
