Empty Products - Body

Image
After summing up the empty hair products, let's move over to the body stuff. There are again three subcategories and hopefully you'll find some helpful information. :) OTHER It's weird to start the post with the "other" products but I actually think that these two are the ones that might need more of a review than a shower gel. The first product I'll write about is the Sugar Crush Body Scrub by Soap and Glory and it is my absolute favourite! I can't even tell how much I loved this product and I remember when I got it, I was still in Scotland and then I was using it here in the old flat too and now in my new flat as well, so it really shows how much I used and loved it throughout this long time. I am a rather lazy person when it comes to skincare but since I have really dry skin all the time, I just need to use some scrub in the shower once in a few days to keep my skin looking somewhat similar to normal. This scrub has the most amazing, fresh ...

Clarins Supra Volume Mascara & Instant Liner

Image
Thanks to Douglas Austria, some months ago I got a new mascara and eyeliner from Clarins to try out and I was really excited. Although I had a mascara and eyeliner that I really liked at that point, I still wanted to give this set a try. The first thing that has to be said about these two products is: how beautiful are they??? I absolutely love the black and gold combo of the packaging. It looks so luxurious and it definitely is pretty to keep on display. The mascara has a thin, non-silicone wand, which brushes through my lashes very easily, applying a perfect amount of mascara. The lashes don't clump, they really get beautifully separated, they are voluminous and definitely much longer. And even after using this mascara for a few weeks, the consistency is still amazing, it hasn't dried out yet and works very well on my lashes. The eyeliner was a little bit difficult to get used to, as I only use gel liner and felt tip liners have always been a nightmare for me, s...

Best Of 2016 : Beauty ( Garnier, Ziaja, Rimmel, Manhattan, Golden Rose)

Happy New Year from Me and Maya! I hope you all had a great start into the new year! I was just relaxing, studying and working two days so far, so I guess my start wasn't too bad. However, on New Year's Eve my camera broke, which doesn't make me happy because I can't vlog at all, but therefore I decided to try and blog more instead. Since today is a holiday, I have enough time to blog and study, and I decided it would be nice to have a look at a few things that I absolutely loved using throughout the last year. Starting off with skincare, I discovered two amazing products, that are also very affordable, so totally worth trying out. I was looking for a micellar water that would work just as good as the famous Bioderma one ( which I love), and everybody here will know the best (?) dupe for it- the Garnier micellar water that comes in the bottle with a pink cap. Yes, I also tried it and I like that it removes make-up quick and easy but the smell th...

3 Tips For A Relaxing Evening

Image
After many many weeks full of stress, exams and work, I can now take a little break because I'm done with my exams for now, but I still have one presentation next week and 2 written assignments to do until the 15th of December. However, the worst things are over and this is why tonight I could actually after a long time, sit down in cosy clothes, put up my feet and enjoy a good cup of tea and some amazing gingerbread. ( once again, because yes- I do love gingerbread!) My tips for a relaxing evening are simple, yet they are really good if you need some time for yourself. 1) Make sure you are cosy, wrapped up in soft blankets and have a cosy spot on the sofa or bed to watch some series, videos or movies. 2) What is just as important is something delicious, warm to drink- tea, hot chocolate or even coffee if that makes you happy. And of course, some snacks. Snacks are important. I couldn't live without snacks to be honest.  3) Light some fragranced candles, or...

Ziaja Cosmetics Haul + Discount Code!

Image
Hey everyone! Being ill and not having to work nor study gives me enough time for blogging, which is nice because I got pretty crap at blogging lately. Today I'm back with a post about a few new things I've tried from Ziaja. I got all the products a few weeks ago and wanted to spend some time testing them all before writing a whole blog post about them. Now the time has come, so let's get straight into it! The first product is the Ziaja Grapefruit with green mint hand soap and this is a new addition to their range actually, so I just had to test it straight away! I totally fell for the beautiful monochrome look of the soap, with the pretty writing and the cute red grapefruit on the bottom. I wish all soaps would look as beautiful as this one.  The soap smells heavenly ( I do love the scent of grapefruits!) and for some reason I really like shower gels and soaps that smell of grapefruits. What surprised me about the soap is that it's bright green, bu...

An Unexpected Eyeshadow Palette Favourite | Too Faced

Image
During my stay in Poland I accidentally found a TkMaxx and I just couldn't pass it without having a look through the beauty section. And I am so lucky I went in. Seeing the Too Faced Cat Eyes palette I grabbed it quickly before anyone else spotted it and I knew it had to be mine. Cat eyes. My eyes look the best with some winged eyeliner and touch of a coppery, or darker shade, just to give them more definition. Now, this palette has all the colours I need, I just need to add some black eyeliner and I'm good to go. This palette is perfect for autumn and winter and I was actually looking for a new palette for some time already, but just didn't find what I needed. I wanted both the copper and silver & black, but this somehow never gets offered in one palette. This palette however gives you three colour combinations you can go for, depending on what occasion, how heavy you want your make-up to be etc. I actually never use eyeshadow on a daily basis because...

Hello Autumn...

Image
I woke up in the morning feeling much better than I did over the last few days. It looks like now that Autumn is officially here, and the weather is getting more and more stable, my body got somewhat used to the fact that Summer is over and it's time to move on now. By now, you will all know how much of a summer person I am. I feel pretty depressed when I'm cold, when there is no sun, only rain and wind. I need a lot of clothes to keep me warm during the colder months and lots of hot tea and shortbread. However, there are also a few ( just a few things ) about Autumn and Winter that I like, just because in Summer they are not the best things to do... I love burning candles all around my flat on dark, grey days when everything you can do is just sit at home, stay warm and watch TV or read a book. Scented candles from Yankee Candle or WoodWick candles are my favourite ones ( this reminds me of the fact that I should order myself a new WoodWick sometime soon a...
