Empty Products - Hair

Image
Today I want to start a short series of "Empties" as I have hoarded quite a lot of them now and even threw some away like my shampoo, which is still the same and has always been in my Empties before. Today's post will be about all the hair products I've used up over the last few months and the next days you will see empties from different categories like face and body products and make-up. CONDITIONERS The only two conditioners I have used up over the last few months are the L'Oreal Clay Conditioner and a keratin one by the Polish brand Joanna that I picked up when I ran out of conditioner when I visited Eryk back in September/October. Starting off with the clay conditioner by L'Oreal I have to say that it made my hair silky smooth and shiny and this was even the second one I got because I loved it so much. I was really impressed because usually my hair is kind of rough, it's never really smooth and it has never been but this conditioner re...

How To Look After Thick, Long Hair (+video)

Image
Caring for my hair takes up a lot of time in my life and since I get questions about it very, very often I thought I would finally film a short video where I explain how my hair routine looks like. Check out the video here! My shampoo is the Smooth and Sleek one by Pantene Pro-V and I'm pretty sure this is the one I've been already using half of my life! It is definitely the best for my hair, I never have any issues with it and you can get it literally everywhere too. The conditioner I started using very recently is the new L'Oreal Elvital from the Clay range and after the first use I could already tell that it's amazing! Once a week I like using the Goldwell Kerasilk mask because especially during summer our hair gets damaged quickly and needs some extra moisture and love. This mask is seriously my life saver and I will be devastated once I will run out of it. It leaves my hair so, so soft even though it is so difficult to achieve this result for...

Primark & Depot Interior Haul

Image
Yesterday we spent our afternoon in Primark and since I haven't been in quite a while I was excited to get a few new pieces. To be honest, I was pretty disappointed when it comes to clothing because I didn't really get much apart from a couple of things, plus a cosy robe for chilly mornings and very cute pyjamas. I was happy though to find some cute home bits, so here they are: I got these little copper wire fairy lights for my office. I hung them up between the two heavy, thick grey curtains that have some copper detailing, so the lights match them perfectly! On the other wall I also have a copper clock, so I liked to keep the office more elegant, with dark furniture and copper details. The lights add such a cosy light in the evenings, that you don't really want to switch them off at all. For the kitchen I got two new mugs, which I fell in love with immediately! I know I already have so many mugs, but these ones are bigger than most of the ones I own right now...

My OOTD: Sun Is Back

Image
Hello guys! My exams have already started yesterday and I am so busy with revision now that I hardly even have time to do anything else. My life got so boring now but I guess after the 30th of June it will all be better again! So, I just took a break from revising and decided to write a quick entry and I wanted to do an OOTD for ages but the problem is that there is nobody really who could just take some time to photograph my outfit in a nice place. And now I thought I'd try it myself at home and though I'm not too happy with the photo quality, I thought it wasn't too bad. Now you finally get to see my face again, after all the beauty related posts I was writing over the last few weeks ( It is simply much easier than having someone take photos of you + the weather was a nightmare recently and there was no chance for good outfit pictures anyways) crop top - Forever21 suede like A-line skirt - Forever21 flats - Forever21 ( That was a bit too much of Forever21 a...

My Fave Spots In My Flat

Image
HELLO! I am back again after nearly 2 long weeks! It's incredible how fast time goes by because I didn't even realise that it's been such a long time since I wrote something the last time. I keep repeating myself but I'm gonna say it again: I have absolutely no time to blog at all because all I do is going to uni or to work, I'm usually home late and then I try to revise a bit and I'm off to bed. I miss blogging a lot because I always enjoyed doing it and I'm so annoyed of this monotone lifestyle I have just now. Yesterday after work I finally managed to meet up with my best friend again after absolute ages, so this was a really nice day for me because I got to enjoy my time a bit again and meeting your best friends is always good! Today all I did so far  is cleaning the whole house, which took me quite some time actually, and now I decided to sit down and show you a few bits of my flat that I probably like the most. I don't really show my flat to...

Anatomicals Product Review

Image
Today I'm back on the blog with a couple of goodies from Anatomicals.  So I got a lip balm, a joint & muscle rub and three face masks to present to you. The first thing I have to say about those products is: How cool is that design?! It's so simple but then again the product descriptions are so on point and you really get what you need. The lip balm seriously got my favourite lip product and this is the only thing I'm wearing on my lips lately! It's a lip balm that smells so, so good of cherries and it's called " Never lose your cherry "! It's such a fruity, summery smell that I sometimes open the tube just to smell it. Seriously.  It is a clear gloss, with absolutely no colour actually, so you could also wear it on top of a lipstick to achieve a glossy look.  The size of the lipgloss also seems so generous to me. You get 15 ml in this squeezy tube and I feel like those kind of glosses are usually way smaller. I carry this lipg...

My 19th Birthday!

Image
I feel like my 18th Birthday was just some weeks ago, and now I am already officially 19! If you are curious about how things looked like exactly one year ago, click here ! Today I actually had to work from 9 until 6 in the evening, so I can basically say that I spent all day long at work, wasting my Birthday. For this reason it is not really such a special day, even though I do feel pretty excited and I don't even know why. Once I came home a "Happy Birthday" banner welcomed me in front of our room. When I came in I felt so emotional seeing all the pink balloons hanging around the walls and some more banners above the bed. I also got a box of Raffaello's, a beautiful card and a "Birthday Girl" rosette, which is super cute. Since Eryk is still at work and will be home late I will watch some series, have some tea and ice cream, because that's probably everything I am allowed to get from the kitchen. Eryk told me not to open the fridge until he'...

Another Blush... | New In Beauty

Image
Some days ago I had to order a book for my French course and since I think it is useless paying for delivery, I was trying to find something to add to the book order so that I wouldn't need to pay for shipping. So, I found this Sleek Blush and I am in love! The packaging is so plain, but the matte black colour of it with the glossy writing looks just so pretty in my opinion. I found that the shade of the blush itself is not so pink like my other ones, what I think is a good thing because now I have something that I didn't have yet. The shade is called Rose Gold 926 and it is more of a peachy tone I'd say. However, it is really glittery and even on your skin it does stay like glittery. And I was thinking that this would make a great blush for summer when I'm tanned and not so pale any more. It doesn't make such a contrast to the bronzer, like the pink blushers, and I just think this look is very pretty and as I already mentioned -summery. It is also my first Slee...

What's in my Bag? - Day in Town

Image
I've done such a post already last summer when I was here in Scotland, using the same bag. But I thought since it's getting springy again, I would do an update, even though not much has changed. Still, I'm using this bag the most when going to town or to the shop. It's because the size is so practical, it holds everything I need outside the house, but I don't overpack it, what I usually do with bigger bags, which makes them even heavier (logic.). I also like the caramel, light brown colour of the leather and the fact that it has crossbody strap. It is also from Fossil, which is probably my favourite bag brand, even though I only have one so far, but I just like their styles so much and am dying to get more, but they are a bit pricey and I just can't afford to get one whenever I want just now at the moment. I unfortunately got a little light patch on the front flap ages ago and I have no idea where it came from and when it happened. It frustrates me a l...

February Favourites | Beauty & Hair

Image
February is coming to an end, and this means that it is time to share my favourite's of this month with you very quickly. Let's start with my favourite lip balm- the Yves Rocher Noix de Coco. I've been repurchasing it for over a year now and I am in love with the creamy consistency, the smell of it and the time it stays on my lips. This one is actually nearly empty, but fortunately I got a new one for Christmas from my mum, so I have some supply for the next 6 months or so. Another product I've been loving lately is the Benefit Roller Lash mascara. This is obviously the sample I still got. I use it every day on my upper lashes and they are so long and separated! I love the look this mascara gives my eyelashes and was even considering buying the full sized one, but it costs £20 and if I think about it, the Urban Decay Perversion mascara costs less and is probably as good as the Benefit one. I actually won't buy the full sized one now, and maybe try to get...

Superdrug Beauty Haul | New In

Image
I was complaining for weeks now that I'm running out of my favourite face powder, which is the Healthy Balance by Bourjois. I love that it is pigmented, but matches my skin well, is so light weight and that it smells so pretty! I have it in the shade 53 and I suppose I'll need to change to a darker shade in summer, but this one will probably last until then, so no worries. After College I decided to quickly go and check if Boots or Superdrug have any offers on it currently and actually I only went to Superdrug and got all the things there. There was an offer Buy One Get Second Half Price and also a lip product for free if you spend £12 or more on Bourjois. I was thinking about it for a long time and decided to get the powder, a blush pot and a free lipstick. The blush is in the shade 48 Cendre de rose brune, and it has such a pretty dusty pink matte pot with cute gold writing. The brush inside is so cute too, though I am not sure yet whether I'll be using it or not....

January Favourites | Beauty & Hair

Image
Maybe it's a bit late, but I still decided to add a post about my favourite beauty products after a long while of not sharing them. I picked five products that I thought I loved a lot throughout January. Starting with hair, I have to say that I finally found the perfect shampoo for me. And it is definitely not new to me! I've been using this for years back in Austria and thought of trying out something new over here in the UK. But the last two TRESemme shampoos I've tried disappointed me a lot, the Ultra Doux from Garnier wasn't good either and when I've ran out of shampoo one day, I quickly grabbed this one from Pantene Pro-V in the supermarket. I chose the smooth&silk version, since my hair is prone to frizz and it looks damaged, which it not necessarily is. After using it only once, I knew that this shampoo is perfect for my hair and that I should continue using it. Using it is so easy, my hair doesn't stick together, it lets the water through, it ...
