Empty Products - Winter Months

Image
Hello everyone! I guess this is my last post before Christmas, even though I really wanted to do one about Christmas outfit ideas, like I did last year, but since I've already packed for Poland, I can't show you now what I want to wear this year. But I have to say that I packed all of those dresses , which means that most likely I'll wear exactly the same things that I did last year! But back to the topic of today's post: It's empties time again! I really waited until our last full day in Vienna before going to Poland to write this post ( finally!). I've collected way too many products this time, but this is due to the fact that I'm not doing empties posts regularly ( which is a big mistake). So let's start with make-up removers. I don't know how I managed to use up so many of them! My tiny Bioderma Sebium micellar water was emptied some time ago before I decided to finish off my Hydrabio one, because it was still half full. I really like...

Packing for Travelling Part 1

Image
So, Sunday is coming to an end and I have to start revising for my Spanish exam, which is tomorrow. I will also need to print my tickets and make sure I have everything I need to pack on Tuesday. To begin with, I chose the liquids bag, because this is always a tricky thing. I am going by plane and since I'm not going to stay for long I decided to have hand luggage only and for this reason I need to make sure I don't exceed the limits to avoid problems. For this moment I think that those are all the liquid products I'll be taking with me, as I can't thing of anything else just now. Sorry for the crappy photos but I don't have a camera home just now but still wanted to blog, so I had to use my phone camera. I've packed my perfume, which is a pretty small size. because it's only 30ml and therefore perfect for travelling. It is also my favourite perfume and I am just addicted to it. It is the Escada Cherry in the air, if you're wondering. ...

Empty Products Of The Last Weeks

Image
This entry will actually be a long one, which I didn't really plan, but once I looked into the empties-bag, I got surprised by how many empty products I've collected lately. I'll just start, introducing the products in categories, since I think it's better this way. First- hair... I have 4 hair shampoos here, but two of them are the same ones but in different sizes. It is definitely my favourite shampoo, the Pantene Pro-V Smooth&Sleek. I've already mentioned it in other posts and I have to say that I've tried many different shampoos over the last year and this one is actually the only one that works on my hair! It cleans my hair well and doesn't make it sticky while washing. My hair looks pretty after washing and that's the important stuff. I have another one that I'm running out of but it's an enormous bottle compared to those two! Next I have the Garnier Ultra Doux shampoo I got in Poland since I've heard many good things ...

Airport Tips | Travelling

Image
As I am leaving on Monday already, I thought it would be quite nice if I shared some tips for travelling by aeroplane. I've learned some useful things over the years and I know that flying can be quite stressful, especially when you are not prepared. Lots of people travel by aeroplane, but some still never had the chance to do so, and maybe these persons would find this quite useful. 1) So, if you have to check in online- do it as soon as you can. If you forget to print your ticket before arriving at the airport, or if your printer should break down or something like that, it is better to do it as soon as possible. With Ryanair you can check in two weeks before the flight up to two hours before the flight. This time I checked in through the Ryanair app on my phone, so basically I have the boarding pass there, but if there should be any issues with it I preferred printing the ticket any ways, just to make sure nobody will make any fuss at the airport. Also, make sure you have you...

My Drugstore Favourites | Beauty

Image
Today after College, Eryk, a friend of Eryk and I met up in town and went to a Chinese restaurant to have a chat, and of course something to eat. After that we were just strolling around the city centre, but it started raining and we went back home. Now I was trying to sort all the documents and so on and it is already 8, so it is about time for me to write today's blog post, right? So I decided to write about 5 products I got from Boots or Superdrug, that I really enjoy using, and that I keep repurchasing. The first product I'll talk about is the Soap&Glory SugarCrush body scrub. It smells like fresh limes, (really!), its scrub bits are not too harsh to your skin, but definitely leave it in a nicer, softer condition than before using it. It comes in a 300ml tub and costs 8£, which to me is a bit pricey, but I am in love with the smell, so I'm glad to have it. Mainly of course, because I tend to have really dry skin that I'd like to get rid of once in a whi...

Empties | November

Image
I've collected so many empty products over the last few weeks that the bag is already full and I finally need to get rid of the empties to create new space for new empty products. The first product is again a TRESemme hair shampoo. This time it's from the Salon Silk range and I have to say that I was quite happy with it. However, lately I found that my hair gets greasy very quickly and even after washing and drying my hair, it feels not clean but quite sticky or greasy underneath all the visible hair. I don't know if it is the choice of shampoo or what because I rinse it until no foam comes out any more. But, the shampoo smells nice and as it is a 900ml bottle, it lasts for about a month, maybe a bit less in my case. Next we have two things that are not related to beauty at all- a tea box and a box of a candle. The Twingings Strawberry& Raspberry tea was one I quickly grabbed because I thought it would be nice to have a fruity tea if we had any guests o...

Very Lazy Day

Image
Today when I woke up I thought there was a tsunami or tornado outside, I swear! The wind was so loud that it seemed like waves are coming towards us. And we don't live near the sea, hahahaha. I was really scared and even Eryk jumped out of bed to check what was going on. But it was ONLY some wind. I would not want to go out during such wind because it would surely take me away. Also my belly was quite sore and I was happy when Eryk suggested to make breakfast for me. When it was ready I went downstairs but still didn't feel to well, even not after eating two big crumpets with raspberry jam and having a really nice cup of tea. I thought that I'd spend the whole day in bed but I somehow didn't. Karina and I did our make up together, sitting next to each other in front of my big mirror while Eryk was playing Counter Strike. I thought that this was quite nice and I enjoyed it. I also managed to tidy up my make-up space a bit so that I can see everything at any time and ...

Last empties from my house!

Image
Good morning! Today Eryk called me at 6am when I was sleeping and then I woke up at about 8, got ready because I am meeting up with my Dani for the last time! :( We need to get something from town and then I will need to get ready for my graduation and I will be gone all day long. In the evening I will be on the coach to Poland and my holidays will finally begin! And for this reason I am uploading the blog post now! :) The famous empties bag is full again! These are the products that are empty now. As you can see, some of them are well known already. Again the head&shoulders shampoo, which I am going to use today for the last time! Not this one, but another bottle of course. Then I will be gone and I will be using a different one. Also an empty product this time is the Penaten baby oil. And I can tell you that it kind of saved my life lately. Because of all the stress and sun allergy my skin got SO dry, I swear, I have never seen this before. It was peeling of...

Beauty products storage

Image
Hello! Today I decided to show you how I store all my beauty things, or at least most of them. I don't have all of my thing in one place and I won't be trying to do this anymore as soon i will be packing for summer and packing for moving out, so there is no point in organising everything again. I already have a plan how I will store all these things when I move to Scotland, and of course, there will be an update of this entry! :) Alright, let's start with the bathroom, as here I store most of my things. These things are the ones I use on an everyday-basis. In these metal pots I have my lipsticks, lipglosses and also my mascaras, brushes, concealers and all the other things you can see. There is also my bronzer laying around loosely as I have no idea where to put it instead. In the other corner we have the liquids as you can see. My soap that I like to use, my peeling, perfume, hair conditioner, my Bioderma and my actual body lotion. In the first picture y...

Is it 10kg???

Image
Hello! I am sorry that it got so late again but I came back from school at 7:30 and then started throwing out old stuff that I won't need anymore and taking things out onto the floor to see what I need to take with me to Edinburgh. To be honest with you I don't want to take too many things with me because I hope that I'll buy some nice things there. So I really hope that I won't have more than 10kg of hand luggage because this is the only bag I'm taking with me. I actually put everything I need to take with me into the suitcase and put it on the scales, well,.. 9,8 kg already...but there is a jacket, a huge towel and Eryk's hoodie inside as well, so that's all going to stay there. And other things too! I just have to pack smaller things like make up and hair brush and medicine on Saturday morning, but this is not going to weight much obviously. Bow-bows! <3 Small things... Music and check-lists... Bigger things... Very happy an...

January Collective Haul!

Image
Hello! As I promised, I am going to upload the January Collective Haul today, because tomorrow I'll have to pack and will be under pressure and on Saturday I am off to Poland, so there won't be any time left to do this. Also I have to say that this is not going to be just about beauty products or just about clothes. It is everything that I have bought this month, except of food of course. So I hope you're going to enjoy it and here we go! Ok, so here you can see nearly everything I bought this month. A jacket, two sweaters and a cup are missing in this picture, but you'll see them soon! I bought two "very berry" candles that smell amazing, and they were the last ones I could manage to find, so I took both of them. They are in a metal tin and look so cute and girly. Also there is a tissue box in the back, because I always have random tissue boxes in my room which don't necessary fit my room design, and this metal box is quite nice, so mum and ...
