My Christmas Make-Up

Image
Since Christmas is always very fancy in our house, I also make sure my outfit and make-up look pretty. And since I wear the same make-up every day, it's quite hard for me to go for something else ( mainly cause I suck at everything else that is not mascara and eyeliner). When I got my early Christmas gift from Eryk two years ago, which was the Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette, it made things a bit easier. My Christmas make-up this year will look like this: I think it is not overly different. It looks quite delicate, yet pretty enough to wear on a special day. I'll quickly talk you through all the products I've used, so you can recreate this look if you want, or get some of the products in case you liked them. Starting off with the base... My make-up base is always the same, except for the powder that I sometimes have to switch because of a tan or fading tan etc. First step is of course concealer. Back in the UK I always used the Collection c...

My OOTD: City Centre Walk

Image
Another day off, another day exploring. We woke up to some beautiful sunshine, let Maya out of the cage, had a slow morning and decided to head into the city centre to get to know new places. Once we arrived in the 1st district of Vienna, we quickly made our way through the busy streets towards the small, unknown paths. There we felt so relaxed. These places are so quiet, nobody is stressed, everyone is in a good mood. It's perfect for a summer day walk. We were wandering around for about three hours, then went to grab some Chinese noodles that we both absolutely love and finally headed home. I have to say that we are really exhausted after today's trip, but we surely enjoyed it a lot! This is actually the best photo where you can see my whole outfit- I'm wearing; white crop top - New Yorker navy, red & white striped skirt - Forever21 cream sandals - Forever21 sunglasses - Love Moschino red leather satchel - Vigneron ...

My March Beauty Favourites

Image
Tomorrow is already April and it is just crazy! I don't even know how this month went by that quickly?! We had the start of the new semester at uni and there was also a few days of Easter, plus I was working quite a lot this month. I think this is why I didn't even realise that the month is over already. If you're very busy you just seem not to feel that at all. But, as always at the end of each month I'm here to let you know about my most used beauty products of March. There's not many because I use all my regular products on a daily basis and they all are my faves but those ones are either new or I just rediscovered them again. Let's start with the new products: I've been using different Garnier hair conditioners for some years now and at first I was disappointed but with time they surprised me a lot. My latest addition is from the Honey Treasures range and I mainly bought it because of its nice smell. I didn't expect too much honestly, but ...

Good products under 5 €

Image
Hello! Today I thought I would show you products that cost less than 5   €  and that are working really well. Also, I would do a post with products from 5 to 10  €  and maybe products from 10 to 20  € . After that I would also want to show things that cost less than 10 £ ,because I also have some of them. I am a person that likes to try out cheaper things before I buy more expensive ones, however these are the products I would buy again and again. 1) My Face Yound Matt Finish Shine-Control sheets: The name of it tells everything about the product, it has  a handy pocket, so that you can take it with you if you feel like it. It contains 50 sheets, you just press them onto your oily face parts and you are ready to go! I love this product and I will surely buy it again as it really works for me and especially in summer it is a must-have in my beauty products collection. It costs something over 1 €   so it is really affordable and worth the price....

Beauty products storage

Image
Hello! Today I decided to show you how I store all my beauty things, or at least most of them. I don't have all of my thing in one place and I won't be trying to do this anymore as soon i will be packing for summer and packing for moving out, so there is no point in organising everything again. I already have a plan how I will store all these things when I move to Scotland, and of course, there will be an update of this entry! :) Alright, let's start with the bathroom, as here I store most of my things. These things are the ones I use on an everyday-basis. In these metal pots I have my lipsticks, lipglosses and also my mascaras, brushes, concealers and all the other things you can see. There is also my bronzer laying around loosely as I have no idea where to put it instead. In the other corner we have the liquids as you can see. My soap that I like to use, my peeling, perfume, hair conditioner, my Bioderma and my actual body lotion. In the first picture y...

I painted my nails yesterday with the Catrice- Robert's Red Ford and I love this colour! Sexy shoes! Well, these huge things were nearly too heavy for me and it made me sad :( 7:30 pm and it isn't dark yet! Improvement! Finally it isn't dark at 4! Well, selfie! Again, my actual favourite jumper :) I hope you had a nice day! I have to revise some Spanish vocabulary and a bit biology before I go to bed and before I wash my hair. *10* -Olivia ~02.04.2014~

My OOTD 5 and bag organisation!

Image
Hello beauty queens! I just came home from school, and I am relieved that I don't need to write the biology test anymore. At least for some weeks. I decided to upload my OOTD and to show you what I grabbed from the fridge, also how I manage to organise my bags. ;) Sweater from H&M, loop scarf from Clockhouse, leggings from Reserved PS: I love sugar skulls! My boots from Clarks that are quite worn out because of the snow last Easter. :( Need to get my hair cut again! School make up is as always the same :) Bag of the day and here you can see how I manage to have everything with me that I need for school. My small nail polish Collection :)

Image
Good afternoon! :) Today is a cloudy day and not really pretty to be outside, so I am quite happy that I can stay in bed some more time until I get healthy again! At first I wanted to do an other entry, but in the end I decided that the other one is more work and I can't do it today, but I will soon! :) So today is about my tiny nail polish collection. I don't have a lot of them because usually I have gel nails, but as all my nails just broke, I am doing a small break from gel and I am using my nail polishes now, so that's the reason why I am posting this :) Let's get started! Here they are! First of all there are my six Essie nail polishes that I own. I really like the texture of them and how they look like on my nails. They are my favourites in fact. So the colours from left to right are:  1) 24- In stitches 2) 79- Sand Tropez 3) 75- Smokin hot 4) 94- Lapiz of luxury 5) 98- Turquoise& caicos 6) 102- Play date Then we have s...
