My OOTD: End of College

Image
Today I picked up a parcel from the Royal Mail and then went straight to College to revise for my two exams that I had soon after and then I could go home and since I've had all my assessments now, I won't need to come back to College anymore, which is great because I have my summer holidays from now on! But it is also a bit sad because I've met some people there that I really got to love and I'll be sad not seing them on a daily basis any longer. Still, the weather is a bit weird, since I felt like it got warmer today but then again the wind is just so strong that sometimes I couldn't even walk because I would fall over or the wind would push me back, most of the time I couldn't see where I am going because of my hair that was just in my face all the time. But I made it, and I hope that I won't need to leave the house anymore today. I did however go for more of a summery outfit because I already felt bored of wearing jeans and a jumper all the time. ...

My Favourite Waterproof Make-Up Remover

Image
Today I wanted to talk a little bit about the remover I've been using since Christmas. Throughout the months I've found that it is really brilliant and that it is a product I would definitely repurchase at any time. The product I am speaking about is the INGLOT Waterproof make-up remover and it comes in different sizes, which can be pretty handy I've learned. I first got the smallest size, which is a tiny 25ml bottle and I've been using it basically every day since Christmas because I tend to wear eyeliner non stop. And I am surprised by the fact that you only need one drop to remove one line of waterproof liner! For this reason I still have about half of the tiny bottle left. It was also incredibly handy when traveling by plane because it didn't use much space in the handluggage liquids bag and as I said: A little goes a long way! Now this time, I've been treated to the full size of it, a 100 ml bottle, again from my amazing cousin who also got me the fi...

Packing for Travelling Part 1

Image
So, Sunday is coming to an end and I have to start revising for my Spanish exam, which is tomorrow. I will also need to print my tickets and make sure I have everything I need to pack on Tuesday. To begin with, I chose the liquids bag, because this is always a tricky thing. I am going by plane and since I'm not going to stay for long I decided to have hand luggage only and for this reason I need to make sure I don't exceed the limits to avoid problems. For this moment I think that those are all the liquid products I'll be taking with me, as I can't thing of anything else just now. Sorry for the crappy photos but I don't have a camera home just now but still wanted to blog, so I had to use my phone camera. I've packed my perfume, which is a pretty small size. because it's only 30ml and therefore perfect for travelling. It is also my favourite perfume and I am just addicted to it. It is the Escada Cherry in the air, if you're wondering. ...

Another Blush... | New In Beauty

Image
Some days ago I had to order a book for my French course and since I think it is useless paying for delivery, I was trying to find something to add to the book order so that I wouldn't need to pay for shipping. So, I found this Sleek Blush and I am in love! The packaging is so plain, but the matte black colour of it with the glossy writing looks just so pretty in my opinion. I found that the shade of the blush itself is not so pink like my other ones, what I think is a good thing because now I have something that I didn't have yet. The shade is called Rose Gold 926 and it is more of a peachy tone I'd say. However, it is really glittery and even on your skin it does stay like glittery. And I was thinking that this would make a great blush for summer when I'm tanned and not so pale any more. It doesn't make such a contrast to the bronzer, like the pink blushers, and I just think this look is very pretty and as I already mentioned -summery. It is also my first Slee...

My OOTD: Flowers and Glitter

Image
This morning was a sunny one again so I new I wouldn't need to wear too many layers again. I went for a pretty spring-y outfit once again and enjoyed the sunshine sitting on a bench at the College Campus before class, without freezing my bum off. My floral "silky" strappy vest is from Primark and I got it last summer. I am surprised by the quality of the fabric to be honest! I've worn and washed it pretty often so far and it stilll looks like new. I also wore this silver glittery skater skirt, which is made of a very thin and elastic fabric. It has a thin belt and it also is from Primark. I also have the same skirt but in a burgundy colour. Why? Because they were 1 Euro each, so... Then again, my black tights, which are also from Primark. ( So much Primark today!) The cardigan is again from Zara and I've had it for SO many years! I already had it when my brother was born... which was 6 years ago. I have to admit that it still looks like new, well, the c...

My OOTD: Colours And Prints

Image
Today I somehow wanted to wear so many different things and I was just scared that I'd look like a clown wearing all those colours and prints and then I thought that it shouldn't really matter if every piece of your outfit matches the rest. So, I went for this outfit and I just didn't want to wear black shoes, that would match the jacket, but make the outfit even darker. And I don't have a big bag matching that colour of shoes, so... well. It got pretty warm today and the sun is still out, which is so beautiful and makes me very happy. I will go for a walk with Maya once I'm done with this entry and eating a quick snack. Still, it is not that warm to leave the house without a jacket and for this reason I went for my faux leather Pimkie jacket, that I'll be wearing pretty often now. I also wore my flats from Lasocki, that I just love and I would just probably buy all of those kinds of shoes if I could.  I wore my River Island dress that I got last year...

INGLOT vs Maybelline Eyeliner | Comparison

Image
Since I wear eyeliner basically every single day, I can tell that I am happy to use a good liner because if the liner isn't good I just don't do the lines because I would freak out. So, at the moment I have two liners that I use to line my lower lashes/eyelids, and aprat from that I have several eye crayons but they are rubbish on my upper eyelids since my lids are quite oily and the colour doesn't stay where it should. So there is only the choice between liquid liner or gel liner for me. And I got the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel liner, which is a Benefit gel liner dupe, and I am really happy with it. On the lids it is bery pigmented, it doesn't smudge and since it is waterproof, it is really difficult to take it off. I like the applicator and the consistency because it is not runny but not to hard either. It is easy to work with in my opinion -obviously other girls may not like that type of eyeliner but I actually find it pretty easy to use. And then I also ...

My OOTD: Spring is here!

Image
I got up to beautiful sunshine outside the window but also coming into our room, through the open window. It was warm and the birds were singing, which makes me feel so happy and so much like being in Poland during summer with all of my family. Once I got out of bed I decided that today is the day- time for one of my favourite dresses, but since it's more on the spring/ summer side, I didn't manage to wear it over a long time now. I checked the temperature and in the morning it already said 10 degrees, which made me really happy. The sky was blue and the sun felt good on my skin. I decided to have a proper breakfast once again, after nearly two weeks of not feeling well at all. It was a happy morning and it finally felt like spring to me. After breakfast I went out to take some snaps of my outfit and then I made my way to College, to sit my French prelim ( which took ages!). My beautiful dress is from New Look and I actually got it last April when I first got to st...

Flight Problems Again!

Image
I've already mentioned that my cousin will be staying with us for a week and today is her flight date. She is at the same airport I've been in January,  waiting for the flight at the same time as mine. And the strange thing is that her flight is also delayed due to a previous flight, which also is delayed. Her actual flight would be in five minutes, but just now it says that the estimated departure is in less than two hours. The delay doesn't change just now, but who knows how this will go on for the rest of the evening? I would be really happy if she could leave in those two hours, because that's still not too bad, but I'll start worrying a lot if more delays should come up. This incident seems so strange to me that I even called Glasgow airport to find out what the problem is, but they actually don't have that info. I feel really bad for her that she has to go through this as well, and also fir Eryk's dad, since he's going to drive us there and back...

Coloured Eye Crayons | Eye Make-Up

Image
Lately I ordered myself two AVON glimmersticks that I totally love using and for Christmas I got another thin eye crayon, but this time from INGLOT. So at the moment I have three of those retractable crayon liners in different colours. I definitely need to get more of them as I kind of think that they add a nice detail to your eye make-up, without trying out any complicated looks. What I like to do is to use my Maybelline gel liner and create a thin black line, sometimes a bit winged out, and to define my lower lash line with one of the coloured crayon liners and to put some mascara to my lashes after that. Today I actually didn't feel like having a black winged eyeliner, so I used my Bourjois Quad palette in 02 Over Rose on my eyelids and to stick with the colour range I used the shimmery purple glimmerstick liner from AVON, which is in the shade sugar plum. I usually used a plain black khol liner to contour my eye, but at the moment I feel like this look is quit...

My Current Make-up Removers | Beauty

Image
Lately I stocked up on different kinds of make-up removers and wanted to share my impressions with you. Back in Vienna I always used the bebe young care wipes, which are just the best ones ever! My mum buys them all the time and she likes them most as well. They are really wet and remove make-up easily and also moisturize your skin after cleansing. I will not write about how much I love Bioderma here because I just don't have it at the moment, and this entry is about the cleansers I use just now. So, most of the time I use the famous Garnier Micellar Water, but I am not the biggest fan of it. It seems to be perfect though for every woman using it. I like how it takes off my make-up, because it is a very quick process and unless I don't use the Maybelline gel liner on this day, it is really good. But the smell that it leaves behind on my skin is just disgusting and I immediately need to rub it off my face because I just can't stand it and it surely doesn't make my ...

My Christmas Gifts 2014

Image
I always like seeing what others got for Christmas and I shared my gifts last year too so I thought I'd do it again this time. There are quite a lot of little things, so again I split them up in categories. Let's start with beauty first: I got a big bottle of glittery watermelon shower gel, which makes our shower gel collection at the moment even bigger! I also got my favourite perfume, which is Cherry in the Air by Escada. I even went to Boots before Christmas to ask whether they still sell it but unfortunately they don't any longer and so I was even more happy to see it under the Christmas tree after that. I still have some drops of my previous one left, so I didn't use this bottle yet. As an early Christmas gift I got the Urban Decay Naked on the Run palette, which I showed in this entry already. If you are curious about it, check out the link for more information. Next I got the Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter and I have to say that its ...

New In

Image
The weather was so nice lately and last night it just looked like a storm outside. It was so windy that I'd most likely fall to the ground if I left the door. It was also raining and even though the wind got lighter, the rain stayed. Therefore, we couldn't be bothered to get out of bed and when we finally did get up it was already twelve. We knew that we are not leaving the house today, Eryk only needs to go to work soon, so we decided to relax a bit. I also finally managed to start editing my first video for Youtube. It is going to be a short summary of my time from the beginning of my holidays until now. I hope it will turn out at least quite nice so that I can share it with you. But yesterday on my way home I said that I'd upload a post on what's new in my closet and here it is. There are two pieces of clothing, two pieces of home things and three pieces of beauty products. So yesterday when I was strolling around TkMaxx I found this cape and if you could fe...
