Empty Products - Face

Image
Last week turned out to be busier than I expected, which is why I didn't manage to upload the last "empties" post. But now I am back with the face category. I threw away the Catrice Camouflage concealer because it was in the empties before pretty often, but I can say that it is one of the best drugstore concealers, sold at a good price. It does cover up some spots and redness as well as light undereye circles, but it could still be better. FACE CLEANSERS One of the best make-up removers I have tried in the last few months is the Garnier Skin Active micellar water, which consists of two "layers"- the micellar water and the oil, which makes it easier tot ake off waterproof make-up. I have tried all the other Garnier micellar waters before but unfortunately, they leave behind the worst smell on my skin, which I already mentioned in this post . When I found this one, I was so happy because it actually has a beautiful scent. It takes off my make-up prett...

Empty Products - Hair

Image
Today I want to start a short series of "Empties" as I have hoarded quite a lot of them now and even threw some away like my shampoo, which is still the same and has always been in my Empties before. Today's post will be about all the hair products I've used up over the last few months and the next days you will see empties from different categories like face and body products and make-up. CONDITIONERS The only two conditioners I have used up over the last few months are the L'Oreal Clay Conditioner and a keratin one by the Polish brand Joanna that I picked up when I ran out of conditioner when I visited Eryk back in September/October. Starting off with the clay conditioner by L'Oreal I have to say that it made my hair silky smooth and shiny and this was even the second one I got because I loved it so much. I was really impressed because usually my hair is kind of rough, it's never really smooth and it has never been but this conditioner re...

My Favourite Body Lotions (Ziaja, Soap&Glory, Moschino & Garnier)

Image
Ok guys. Now that I started studying 20 minutes ago, it came to my mind that I didn't write a new blog post in two weeks ( though I filmed another video ), and that it is the perfect moment to do so now. So, now I'm sitting here, blogging instead of revising for my exams. Oh well. Summer is nearly over and even though I didn't get as tanned as I wanted to, I still was out in the sun a lot and after the summer months I feel like you can tell that your skin is a bit dry. Also, to keep your tan for a bit longer, a good idea is moisturising! So, this post is about my daily after-shower-routine really. I'll talk you through my four favourite body lotions and oils and I hope you'll already know some of them and agree with my opinion. Firstly, I wanted to mention the Ziaja Cocoa Butter body lotion that I've been using quite a while now. I love the minimalistic design of it. It's white, simple and it matches my bathroom well ( I never thought I would...

July Beauty Favourites

Image
I was sitting on my sofa, sipping my tea and I realised that I didn't write about any "Favourites" in months, so I decided to quickly grab my camera and do that now because this month I have some new exciting things to show you that I absolutely loved using throughout the whole month. I collected favourites from make-up, skin care, as well as hair care, so let's get straight into it. Starting off with hair, I picked one special product that I finally wanted to review. In December I received a little parcel from Goldwell with a shampoo and a hair mask that suit my hair perfectly. I was using the shampoo straight away and I absolutely loved it. However, due to all the uni stress and the terrible lack of time for myself, I never got to try out the mask until May or June I would say. And since I went swimming and tanning a lot throughout July, I decided to use the mask once a week to keep my hair silky smooth and healthy. And OMG, I am so in love with it...

Primark & Depot Interior Haul

Image
Yesterday we spent our afternoon in Primark and since I haven't been in quite a while I was excited to get a few new pieces. To be honest, I was pretty disappointed when it comes to clothing because I didn't really get much apart from a couple of things, plus a cosy robe for chilly mornings and very cute pyjamas. I was happy though to find some cute home bits, so here they are: I got these little copper wire fairy lights for my office. I hung them up between the two heavy, thick grey curtains that have some copper detailing, so the lights match them perfectly! On the other wall I also have a copper clock, so I liked to keep the office more elegant, with dark furniture and copper details. The lights add such a cosy light in the evenings, that you don't really want to switch them off at all. For the kitchen I got two new mugs, which I fell in love with immediately! I know I already have so many mugs, but these ones are bigger than most of the ones I own right now...
