I was browsing the Internet for some new dinner ideas and found this cake recipe by accident - it was not supposed to be dinner! Since I had all the needed ingredients at home, I decided that I could have a try. So I did and here's the recipe, should you want to try it too! INGREDIENTS: -3 cups of plain flour -1 cup of oil -1 cup of milk -3 eggs -3 full tablespoons of cocoa ( I went for pure cocoa powder, so my cake is a bit more bitter than it would turn out if I used sweet cocoa- I guess you can choose whatever you like more.) - half of a jar of your favourite jam ( I've used apricot jam, but I can't really tell it is in the cake) -2 teaspoons of soda - I also added 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar You can make a chocolate icing too, but I didn't have it at home, so I didn't do it. I had a fairly good day at College and I also realised that today is "Tlusty Czwartek" in Poland, which is basically a day where you eat as many doughnuts as your body will allow. And this is a great day, isn't it? It is a tradition really to buy and eat them on this day so I thought I'd go to ASDA and get some, but then I thought that the Polish shops for sure have tons of them today and I decided to go to one and check. And they had boxes full of typical polish doughnuts! I totally love them and I could never find such doughnuts in Vienna, since they are just different. And finally, here in Scotland, my dream came true and I found the perfect doughnuts in the world. Not even in Poland did I have such nice ones, and I am just so sad that I only bought four. But, maybe I shouldn't eat too many of them either ( even though I had about 4 on average on those days). So, I'll just spend the evening watching videos and eating all of my doughnuts. Well, yesterday I showed you my beauty favourites and today we are heading over to all the other random things. First, for this month I thought of fairy lights. We have these flowers from IKEA on our headboard of our bed and I like to turn them on in the evening when I am sitting in bed with Maya or doing something on my phone or tablet. It is a really warm light and it makes the bed even cosier than usual. Today I was actually looking out for some more fairy lights for our room, but I don't want them to be really light LED lamps. These ones are just perfect and they were only 4 or 5 Euros back when I bought them about two or three years ago. (They do have the "European" ending so I have to use an adapter for them.) Next I decided to add the Polish Almette soft cheese with some herbs. It reminds me so much of my aunt's house because she always buys these and I love them so much! The morning was horrible. It was completely stormy and I was sure that if I left the house, the wind would blow me away immediately and I was seriously scared of it. It was also raining and surely not a good day to spend outside your cosy home. And I already considered staying at home but I also didn't want to not go to the lesson. So Eryk and I had some lazy breakfast, which was nice, and I eventually decided to go to College as it was not raining any more. So while I was away Eryk cleaned the house, which made me so happy when I came back. We had some wedges and chicken and then he sadly had to leave for work. But he will be back in four hours any ways. I did the laundry because the laundry basket was running out of space and we would like to have some nice clean clothes too. Yesterday evening we decided that it was time again to give our baby Maya a bath. This time she seemed quite relaxed when we put her into the bathtub so we added some more water as we wanted to see if she'd swim. And she did! It was so funny but I couldn't take  proper picture because it was blurry. But soon she started shaking so much like last time and we decided to take her out of the bathtub and we rolled her up in a small warm towel and she hid under the cover in our bed until she was fine again. Her fur is so pretty now! Today we were again too lazy to get out of bet early, so we stayed a bit longer. Then we got ready as we wanted to go to a cafe for breakfast. In the end I took a cranberry-orange tea from the cafe and Eryk had a bacon roll and some lentil soup. We were sitting in front of the cafe enjoying our first part of the breakfast and went then to the bakery and to buy some food in the shop. Today I started work at 9 in the morning and I just didn't want to get out of bed as I couldn't get any proper sleep last night. In the morning I hardly even could wake Eryk up to make me some breakfast. But in the end he did, so I had enough time to get ready. I arrived quite early for work so I've been there even before 9. I then did all the things I'd usually do and I enjoy it. It is not hard physical work, which is very good. But when it comes to working in the freezer area, I'm surely not the happiest. After some time you can't even feel your fingers anymore and your skin is just so sore that it seems like it is going to rip apart on your knuckles. But luckily I got some gloves today so that my hands will be a bit more safe. Today I actually worked a lot at the till and it was a bit stressful because some things went wrong, there were too many customers and too little staff. Today Eryk has a day off from work and he made breakfast for us after we woke up. While I was waiting for the food I had a chat with my mum on Skype after some days break because I didn't manage to see her online. Noah starts to ask where I am and why I am not coming home where he is. It makes me a bit sad but I know that he is okay and will understand that I go to school and so on. I was sitting in bed for a long time after breakfast, having some cuddles with my sleepy baby Maya. She is so cute when she's asleep that I could sit with her in bed all the time. I think she grew already a bit over the last week. She is so long when she stretches herself and sleeps like that! Hello! Today is already the third day of me being in Scotland and I didn't manage to post anything yesterday! Yesterday we woke up and the weather was just amazing! I woke up at 8 and told Eryk that we really need to go out because the weather was just fantastic. So we got ready and headed over to Ocean Terminal which was quite a long bus ride away, but when we arrived there, we first went to exchange my money, than grabbed some breakfast from Greggs and sat down outside in the sun and enjoyed our pies and donuts and all the other British things we bought there. After that we went to Boots and GAP and some other shops, but I only bought some things in Boots that I needed and then we went back home as Eryk had to leave for work soon. Hello! Yesterday in the evening we arrived in Vienna and I unpacked my bags really quickly as I had to do a lot for school, and my room is still a huge mess, but I'll clean it up later on. As I hadn't the chance to upload anything yesterday, here comes my outfit of today :) I am wearing my H&M jacket and my H&M Tartan scarf that I bought ages ago, before going to Scotland for the first time. I was also wearing my brown Clarks leather boots. My sweater is from Stradivarius and my Jeans are from Bershka. I don't know why my legs look so massive in these pictures :( I didn't even gain any weight or something :( My make up, again: concealer, bronzer, blush, mascara, eyebrow shadow. Good evening my dear readers! I see you come from across the world! That makes me very very happy and I hope that I'll gain even more readers! :) As I promised you right in the beginning, I am going to do an entry about my presents that I got for Christmas. I know it is late for christmassy things, but since I've not been home I decided to do it now.
