My Christmas Make-Up

Image
Since Christmas is always very fancy in our house, I also make sure my outfit and make-up look pretty. And since I wear the same make-up every day, it's quite hard for me to go for something else ( mainly cause I suck at everything else that is not mascara and eyeliner). When I got my early Christmas gift from Eryk two years ago, which was the Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette, it made things a bit easier. My Christmas make-up this year will look like this: I think it is not overly different. It looks quite delicate, yet pretty enough to wear on a special day. I'll quickly talk you through all the products I've used, so you can recreate this look if you want, or get some of the products in case you liked them. Starting off with the base... My make-up base is always the same, except for the powder that I sometimes have to switch because of a tan or fading tan etc. First step is of course concealer. Back in the UK I always used the Collection c...

Empty Products - Winter Months

Image
Hello everyone! I guess this is my last post before Christmas, even though I really wanted to do one about Christmas outfit ideas, like I did last year, but since I've already packed for Poland, I can't show you now what I want to wear this year. But I have to say that I packed all of those dresses , which means that most likely I'll wear exactly the same things that I did last year! But back to the topic of today's post: It's empties time again! I really waited until our last full day in Vienna before going to Poland to write this post ( finally!). I've collected way too many products this time, but this is due to the fact that I'm not doing empties posts regularly ( which is a big mistake). So let's start with make-up removers. I don't know how I managed to use up so many of them! My tiny Bioderma Sebium micellar water was emptied some time ago before I decided to finish off my Hydrabio one, because it was still half full. I really like...

Autumn Empties (Face, Hair, Body)

Image
Hello everyone and welcome back on the blog! Since I'm so busy lately I don't even have enough time to blog properly, but today I decided it was time again to create some content for you. I actually wanted to film an empties video because I think it is just so much nicer, but until I managed to get this thing started it was already way too dark to film anything. So I decided go write some lines- still better than nothing. It's actually not too many empty products this time, but the boxn is surely full and ready to be emptied.  HAIR I used up my Batiste Eden dry shampoo and it really made me sad because Batiste is so expensive here in Vienna (and also hard to get). I also haven't seen this new scent over here yet, so this is even worse. Over the last few months (from August until now, the end of October) I've been using this about once a week. It helped me not washing my hair every two days on the hot days, but every third day and this was seriously lif...

My OOTD: Velvet Skirt And Leo-Bag

Image
It was pretty warm today and I decided not to wear tights and also to wear this skirt. I am absolutely in love with it because it just fits perfectly! It is made of 98% cotton and it is just so soft and velvety! It is also in a beautiful dark purple colour and has two pockets in the front but none in the back. I was thinking of doing this post another day but my dear Koko requested it so I had to do it now :D Those photos are not great because of the light, but you get an idea of the look :) dust pink blouse - H&M purple fitted skirt - Moschino leather ballet flats - Lasocki leopard tote - FOSSIL lipstick - AVON A cheeky selfie :)                                               Another selfie... As you can tell the skirt is pretty fitted and I often have a problem with high waisted skirts because I have a pretty slim waist. I g...

Summer Empties ( Face, Hair, Teeth & Body)

Image
Today I'm back with an Empties- post because I just realised how many things I've hoarded over the last weeks. Let's just start and try to keep the post as short as possible. I've used a shoe box for now instead of a bag because I find it more handy. HAIR I've used up this big 700ml bottle of my favourite Pantene Pro-V 2in1 Smooth&Sleek shampoo that works just simply the best. I've been writing about this product so many times that I guess you probably all already know it. It makes my thick hair look and feel clean, which not all shampoos do. It also doesn't make it tangled or frizzy or anything - it just does what I want. Next we have two L'Biotica Biovax hair masks that I've bought at the seaside back in July. I like to use a hair mask once a week when I've got the time, but those are just miracles! My hair is so soft and silky and full and it looks just so perfect! I think I only have one more left at this moment and defini...

My Summer Hair Care

Image
This summer turned out to be incredibly hot with plenty of sunshine here in Poland, which is pretty good because I get a tan and look healthier, but for my hair it's probably not the best thing in the world. Today I wanted to show you which products I use to keep my hair in the best condition possible ( I hope!). So, first of all, my hair already got pretty long by the end of June, so I knew I needed to cut it again because I had split ends and the ends were basically pretty dry and my hair didn't look that pretty any more. Personally, I prefer healthier to longer hair. Yes, I do want to have long hair, but I want it to be healthy and beautiful. I cut my hair in the second/third week of July, and I got about 10 cm chopped off, which made my hair look much nicer already. This was basically my first step to taking care of my hair during summer. While being by the seaside ( before cutting my hair), I bought some different hair masks to try out and I also got a new conditione...

May Favourites | Beauty

Image
I can't believe that the last week of May already starts tomorrow! It's totally crazy how time flies and I feel like I haven't achieved anything nice yet. I seem to be so busy lately but then again I don't get anything out of my efforts. And time still flies. For today's entry I wanted to show you my beauty favourites of this month like I usually do towards the end of each month. Those are the 5 products of this month:  The first one on the list is the Malibu Fast Tanning Oil. I have bought it some weeks ago and have only used it last week for the first time. If you don't know it then I recommend you go to a shop, find it and smell it. I am totally in love with this smell and if there is perfume that smells like this - I NEED IT. Well, the smell is a very summery one to me. It is a typical tanning oil smell in my opinion - coconut and vanilla like I'd say. It is amazing and I wish I could use it every day, but the weather in Scotland is ...

My OOTD: A Day Full Of Sunshine And Another Birthday Gift!

Image
Today Eryk and I were supposed to go to town together but since he doesn't feel too well and he also had to wait for his new phone to be delivered, he stayed at home and I went on my own. It was really sunny but from time to time there were tiny rain drops coming pouring down and I got annoyed. I also met a friend from College so we stood in the kind of rain talking for a while after I was done with the shopping and about to go home. Here's my outfit and also something I bought myself for my Birthday... My trenchcoat is from Pimkie, as you may probably already know from this haul video . It's perfect for the weather just now because in the shadow it does get pretty chilly, and I am not too happy when I'm cold... My sweater is from New Look and I got it ages ago. It's a peachy colour I'd say and definitely not a warm jumper. I paired it with my black skater skirt from H&M that I also got a long time ago, back when I still lived in Vienna. I think ...

My OOTD: Easter Time - Saturday

Image
Today I wanted to wear a dress but looking at the freezing temperature outside, I decided to wear a longer skirt, with a blouse and a cardigan. Outside I also wore my new Khujo jacket and my black studded boots.  The blouse I am wearing is new and I got it from Miss Selfridge some days before I left Scotland. At first I wasn't sure what I would pair it with, but now it seems to me like this is a very nice outfit. As mentioned, the blouse is from Miss Selfridge, the cardigan is from Zara and really old. The denim skirt is from House and I am obsessed with it. Underneath the blouse I am wearing a basic black cami vest. (The tights are Primark as always.) I've used my Bourjois bronzer, Avon lipstick and Maybelline eyeliner. I've used my mum's mascara, which is this one from L'Oreal. I put my hair into a pony tail because I had no time to wash it and it didn't look too good any more. And the pony tail is so heavy that it gives me headache, but ne...

Packing for Travelling Part 1

Image
So, Sunday is coming to an end and I have to start revising for my Spanish exam, which is tomorrow. I will also need to print my tickets and make sure I have everything I need to pack on Tuesday. To begin with, I chose the liquids bag, because this is always a tricky thing. I am going by plane and since I'm not going to stay for long I decided to have hand luggage only and for this reason I need to make sure I don't exceed the limits to avoid problems. For this moment I think that those are all the liquid products I'll be taking with me, as I can't thing of anything else just now. Sorry for the crappy photos but I don't have a camera home just now but still wanted to blog, so I had to use my phone camera. I've packed my perfume, which is a pretty small size. because it's only 30ml and therefore perfect for travelling. It is also my favourite perfume and I am just addicted to it. It is the Escada Cherry in the air, if you're wondering. ...

Another Blush... | New In Beauty

Image
Some days ago I had to order a book for my French course and since I think it is useless paying for delivery, I was trying to find something to add to the book order so that I wouldn't need to pay for shipping. So, I found this Sleek Blush and I am in love! The packaging is so plain, but the matte black colour of it with the glossy writing looks just so pretty in my opinion. I found that the shade of the blush itself is not so pink like my other ones, what I think is a good thing because now I have something that I didn't have yet. The shade is called Rose Gold 926 and it is more of a peachy tone I'd say. However, it is really glittery and even on your skin it does stay like glittery. And I was thinking that this would make a great blush for summer when I'm tanned and not so pale any more. It doesn't make such a contrast to the bronzer, like the pink blushers, and I just think this look is very pretty and as I already mentioned -summery. It is also my first Slee...
