Empty Products Of March And April | Empties

Image
It seems to me like I've been writing this post some days ago, but that was already nearlt two months ago! So many products have added up by now that I decided to show them to you. And you will already know some of them since they are ones I trust. Starting with the Pantene Pro-V shampoo, I want to add that I have two of those huge bottles that are empty, plus one bottle of the smallest size too. This gives you a rough idea od how much hair shampoo I need for washing my hair only twice a week! I am glad when I have those huge sizes because I know that I won't run out of them too quickly and I buy one a month approximately. I've said this so many times but this shampoo is by far the best I've used yet. It really makes my hair feel and look clean and washing it twice a week is enough to not look as if someone spilt a bottle of oil over my head. I am just in love with it and am scared of trying other shampoos now that I've found that this one is just perfect for...

January Favourites | Beauty & Hair

Image
Maybe it's a bit late, but I still decided to add a post about my favourite beauty products after a long while of not sharing them. I picked five products that I thought I loved a lot throughout January. Starting with hair, I have to say that I finally found the perfect shampoo for me. And it is definitely not new to me! I've been using this for years back in Austria and thought of trying out something new over here in the UK. But the last two TRESemme shampoos I've tried disappointed me a lot, the Ultra Doux from Garnier wasn't good either and when I've ran out of shampoo one day, I quickly grabbed this one from Pantene Pro-V in the supermarket. I chose the smooth&silk version, since my hair is prone to frizz and it looks damaged, which it not necessarily is. After using it only once, I knew that this shampoo is perfect for my hair and that I should continue using it. Using it is so easy, my hair doesn't stick together, it lets the water through, it ...

Bielenda CC Diamond Extreme Nail Hardener 10 in 1 | Review

Image
Since my nail are totally horrible, keep breaking all the time once they are a tiny bit longer and are very thin, I was trying to find a good nail hardener for a long time now. In Poland my mum and me went to a drug store and tried to chose one that looks promising. I've heard many good things about the Bielenda 8 in 1 nail hardener, but also that it contains formaldehyde and decided not to take it. Instead we found this 10 in 1 hardener, with Diamond powder and without formaldehyde. It sounded good and wasn't expensive either, so we bought it. I started using it straight away. so from the last week of December, applying two layers of it as often as possible. The 10 effects listed on the pack are: -hardens the nail -improves the nail's resistance -improves the thickness of the nail -strengthens -makes nail polish stay on for longer -gives the nail a shiny look -the nail is more even -makes the nail look prettier -is easy to apply -dries quickly Now that I...

Poland Haul

Image
As you probably already know, I arrived in Scotland last night after a week of Christmas holidays with  my family in Poland. My journey was a complete nightmare to be honest and I am still totally exhausted. My parents brought me to the airport in Poland and waited with me until there were only 40 minutes left until my flight, as we could see each other through a glass wall all the time. Then they left and I went to the last passport control and waited for the boarding sign to appear. However, due to very bad weather conditions, my flight was 5 hours late in the end, as the plane couldn't take off in Glasgow on time. I could have spent these 8 hours I spent at the airport, with my family instead. At half past two in the morning ( Polish time) we finally took off and I landed in Glasgow more than two hours later. I was lucky enough as Eryk and his dad picked me up because I wouldn't be able to go to Edinburgh on my own any more. My journey from leaving the house until entering t...

Battle Of The Sugar Scrubs

Image
I've been using two different body scrubs over the last couple of weeks. One of them is one I bought in Poland, from Bielenda. This one is a 200 ml tub and costs 14 zl, which is approximately 3 pounds. The sugar scrub smells like cherries and contains oil from blackcurrants, which helps regenerating your skin and works anti ageing. It is said to make your skin smoother and softer and so on. This body scrub is available in three scents (as far as I've seen):  cherry, raspberry and peach. MY OPINION I used this product very often already and I am really happy that I got it. The smell is so refreshing and the scrub itself has so much sugar in it that you only need a small amount of it to peel your arms, legs and belly. Once you rinse it, you can feel a gently greasy layer on your skin. When you dry your skin with a towel it will be gone but your skin feels moisturised and really really soft. The dead skin particles are gone and this is basically what you need. And...

Monthly Beauty Favourites: July

Image
This months slowly comes to an end and as always at this time I'm showing you all the products I loved using during this month, to show you new products you would maybe enjoy and so on. The first thing is my sugar scrub from Bielenda. This is a Polish product and when I saw it in a magazine I just knew I needed it. So once I saw it in a shop, I got it and I have been really happy with it. As my skin got extremely dry over the last two months (and I mean REALLY dry!) I needed a really good scrub and now I can say that this surely is one. It has an amazingly refreshing smell ( actually you can chose from peach, raspberry and cherry, I have the cherry one obviously), it is pink and after using it, it leaves a slightly greasy layer on your skin, which is basically moisturising and not greasy any more once you dried your skin with a towel. Your skin is surprisingly smooth and soft afterwards.  (Just to show you what I mean by dry) I actually used quite big portions at fir...

Poland Day 9 (Poland Haul)

Image
Hello everybody! Today the sun finally came back and I got up at 7 because I couldn't wait to go outside to tan. At about 10 me and Olimpia were laying in the garden and enjoying the sun. Eryk then went to town with his grandparents and sister and my aunt drove Lili and Noah to my grandparents so we could also go to town for a while. We went to some shops, I bought some things, we had really tasty ice cream and then we ate tortillas which were also too delicious to describe! Then we came back and Eryk was also home again but now he went to his granny's house because they want to paint the walls in a room and I am now uploading this post and as I've bought some things here already I thought I'd show you also what I got. Today I was wearing my Forever21 skirt, my H&M mermaid top again, my sandals from Cube and my Fossil bag. My hair doesn't look too good but I just wanted to get them out of my face and to tie them together as high as possible because the hea...
