My OOTD: Summer Date Night

Image
As you may already know, I got some days off work and travelled to Poland to relax and I was really hoping for amazing weather, which only really was nice today. The other days were rather cool and windy, but still, this outfit was warm enough to go out in the evening. Eryk and I went to town, to a few shops, for a walk and for some dinner, which was tasty but we were so full after that, that I thought my belly would explode. Plus, I wore those heeled sandals and I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to walk anymore. body-hugging denim dress - H&M Monochrome print cardigan - H&M crochet crop top - Stradivarius burgundy leather cross body bag - Vigneron black heeled sandals - Forever21 nail polish - Barry M ( Ballerina) lipstick - Golden Rose ( 14) black watch - Swatch Still, I really enjoyed this evening, walking around the city centre at a time when it's not busy anymore. We managed to take some blog shots, which made me very happy a...

My OOTD: Fluffy Jumper And Cosy Coat

Image
Hello everyone! I am really sorry that I wasn't here for a while now, but uni somehow gets pretty stressful just now with all the upcoming exams. I try to study every spare minute because it is so much that I have to know that I'd like to cry and stay in bed all day long. Today I'm again off to a lecture but I decided to show you my outfit before I go. I actually wanted to take photos outside but I'm alone and there's nobody who could help me. And after uni the light will already be too bad to get nice snaps. ( Although I have to say that the quality of those photos is pretty bad too) I decided to wear my cosy coat today again, because it is cooling down again after all those pretty hot days. But I'm wearing Vans to not look too wintery. creme cosy coat - Primark fluffy pastel jumper - Only high waisted jeans - Topshop shoes - Vans I got this jumper a few days ago and I'm in love! It's actually tight on the skin and you can really feel ...

How I Fill In My Eyebrows

Image
Hello everyone! I have such complicated eyebrows that I basically have to fill them in every day to achieve a nicer shape ( which also makes my whole face look better). Since I also have hooded eyelids, an arched brow helps my face look more lifted and awake I think. The problem is that the first halves of my brows grow quickly and they get pretty wide, whereas the second halves are just a single line of light hair, which in total looks very weird: thick-thin. That's all. For this reason I have to fill in, or I'd already say draw on those parts to not look like I've overplucked my eyebrows or something. They just don't grow there and it's a shame. To fill them in I got myself a beautyuk High Brow Kit from Superdrug, about a year ago I believe. However, only recently I've found a way to make my brows look good/alright. I use the middle shade. I try to focus more on the second halves of the brows, as I already said before, because they ar...

Packing for Travelling Part 1

Image
So, Sunday is coming to an end and I have to start revising for my Spanish exam, which is tomorrow. I will also need to print my tickets and make sure I have everything I need to pack on Tuesday. To begin with, I chose the liquids bag, because this is always a tricky thing. I am going by plane and since I'm not going to stay for long I decided to have hand luggage only and for this reason I need to make sure I don't exceed the limits to avoid problems. For this moment I think that those are all the liquid products I'll be taking with me, as I can't thing of anything else just now. Sorry for the crappy photos but I don't have a camera home just now but still wanted to blog, so I had to use my phone camera. I've packed my perfume, which is a pretty small size. because it's only 30ml and therefore perfect for travelling. It is also my favourite perfume and I am just addicted to it. It is the Escada Cherry in the air, if you're wondering. ...

Spring Nail Polish | Beauty

Image
Since the weather is really getting nice recently, with more sunny and warm days and flowers starting to show up everywhere, I feel like spring is finally coming! The temperature stays at around 10 degrees and I really hope that it will rise a bit more soon and that the terrible wind will go by too. For this reason I felt like showing you the nail polishes I'll be wearing throughout this spring, since I really like the fresh, but delicate colours. Most of them are pastels and I think they are great for spring! I didn't want to go crazy and chose all the shades from my little collection and tried to show about 5- so we have six. At first I would like to mention the Ciate paint pot in the shade PP102 DOLLS HOUSE. It is a nude, shiny nail polish, with teeny tiny sparkly bits in it. It is kind of translucent but it does give you a very light pink shade. I think this is great for girls who prefer to keep their nails simple, but to actually have some detail on them. ...

Superdrug Beauty Haul | New In

Image
I was complaining for weeks now that I'm running out of my favourite face powder, which is the Healthy Balance by Bourjois. I love that it is pigmented, but matches my skin well, is so light weight and that it smells so pretty! I have it in the shade 53 and I suppose I'll need to change to a darker shade in summer, but this one will probably last until then, so no worries. After College I decided to quickly go and check if Boots or Superdrug have any offers on it currently and actually I only went to Superdrug and got all the things there. There was an offer Buy One Get Second Half Price and also a lip product for free if you spend £12 or more on Bourjois. I was thinking about it for a long time and decided to get the powder, a blush pot and a free lipstick. The blush is in the shade 48 Cendre de rose brune, and it has such a pretty dusty pink matte pot with cute gold writing. The brush inside is so cute too, though I am not sure yet whether I'll be using it or not....

Latest Beauty Buys | New In

Image
I used to write collective hauls at the end of every month because I thought I wouldn't have too many things to show and now I somehow prefer to show the things straight away after I buy them, just because they are new and I don't forget to talk about all the things I got over the last month. But again, lately I don't just walk into Boots and pick 5 things at once, but mostly buy just what I need at the moment really. And for this reason I decided to quickly share with you the things I got over the last two weeks, since I didn't update you about them yet. I have five things here and two of them are products I've already had. On Friday I went to M&S and saw this cute little box of soap roses and couldn't resist them. I carried them around for a long while around the shop and eventually decided to really buy them. They look so pretty in their little box that I don't even want to take them out to be honest! They are scented with top notes of gardenia,...

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara | Review

Image
I saw many girls writing about how amazing this mascara is and so I decided to get it and to see myself. However, the full size mascara is still not available yet, but you can get it with the March issue of ELLE. And that's exactly what I did. The issue with the mascara is 4£ so I thought there was nothing really to lose. The mascara is a 3 ml size, so let's say a bit less than a usual full sized one. The wand has the shape of a spoon, I'd say. On the upper side it has shorter bristles and longer ones on the other side. The wand is a silicone one, which I usually like and was happy to get such a mascara again after a long time of using the hair bristle wands. The formula itself is quite liquid and buildable. What surprised me a lot is that I can take it off quickly and it doesn't smear all around my eyes. Benefit says that this mascara curls the lashes and therefore they look longer. I have to say that my lashes are heavy and many mascaras don'...

My Favourite 5 PINK Beauty Products

Image
You may have already found out that one of my favourite colours is pink and even in beauty products, it attracts my attention and I am more likely to get the product just because I think it is pretty. (Whatever) So, here are some products I really like for what they do, and also for their colour. :) (The products may not be pink, but the packaging they come in) My first pink product I love is my Bourjois Healthy Balance powder. Of course it is not pink itself, but the compact case has a vibrant pink colour and I think it looks very pretty. Also, the product is amazing and I already struggle with applying the powder quickly to my face, because I've hit the den and the powder is only around the inner space and more difficult to reach. Once I've run out of it, definitely the same powder will take its place in my beauty cupboard. It is great- it has a pretty shade, which makes my face a lot more alive and healthy, it has such a pretty, summery smell and it is not noti...

New Year's Eve 2014

Image
2014 has been a very big and busy year for me I'd say. In April, it was my 18th Birthday, In May, I had my written final exams at High School, In June, I had my oral final exams and my graduation, In July, I moved to Scotland to continue education, In December, I managed to see my family again after 5 months. And now this year is already coming to an end and I'm asking myself how 2015 will be. Is it going to be a better one or a worse one? We'll see, but now the only thing we can do is to wait and to celebrate. Eryk invited some friends over for tonight and we'll have a little home party. I don't know yet whether we'll be going somewhere else later or not. But I chose my outfit and I kept it simple but also a bit different than usual. I kept my make-up simple because I didn't really want to create a disaster in the end. I used my Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara ( the orange and black one), Barry M eyeliner above my upper eyelashes and my Bourjois R...

Airport Tips | Travelling

Image
As I am leaving on Monday already, I thought it would be quite nice if I shared some tips for travelling by aeroplane. I've learned some useful things over the years and I know that flying can be quite stressful, especially when you are not prepared. Lots of people travel by aeroplane, but some still never had the chance to do so, and maybe these persons would find this quite useful. 1) So, if you have to check in online- do it as soon as you can. If you forget to print your ticket before arriving at the airport, or if your printer should break down or something like that, it is better to do it as soon as possible. With Ryanair you can check in two weeks before the flight up to two hours before the flight. This time I checked in through the Ryanair app on my phone, so basically I have the boarding pass there, but if there should be any issues with it I preferred printing the ticket any ways, just to make sure nobody will make any fuss at the airport. Also, make sure you have you...

Two Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascaras | Mascara Comparison

Image
Today I would like to show you two mascaras I have at the moment, which come from the Rimmel Scandaleyes range. One of them is the green one, which I've already had three times. It's full name is Scandaleyes Lycraflex Mascara. I am actually running out of the one in the pictures below so yesterday while shopping at ASDA I just decided to quickly grab a mascara and I just took the black and orange Volumeflash Scandaleyes Mascara in Extreme black. They seemed quite identical to me so I thought why not take one? After using the new one only once I can tell a little difference and decided to tell you a teeny bit about it. The first difference is obviously the name and colour of the packaging, but the shape of it is the same. Also, the price is nearly the same as far as I know. However, I found that you can't see find the green one too often lately, which makes me a bit sad. The wands look identical I'd say. You can tell that the orange one has more product on it...
